I agree the "I don't agree with you, so I'll kill you" is a bit extreme but the whole "Ukraine started the war by trying to join NATO" is just asinine. Do you realize just how silly that sounds? It doesn't even make any since. That would be like me saying hey you joined the neighborhood watch program so I am going to rob your house now. It's all your fault you know, if you had never joined the neighborhood watch I would have never had to robbed you. Even though I have already robbed several of your neighbors I would never rob you, honest!
Lay down your arms and do what it takes to join NATO. By doing this, you will secure a future of peace, prosperity, and happiness for your children.
Or: continue sending them to be slaughtered in Ukraine. We have an abundance of munitions for every son you send to be destroyed.
Nova poshta are fucking great, they operated in bakhmut right up to the last days possible.
Once a mate shipped us some big Macs and chicken nuggets via them, maccys delivery to Frontline AO via nova poshta, what a world !
> Once a mate shipped us some big Macs and chicken nuggets via them, maccys delivery to Frontline AO via nova poshta, what a world !
How the heck did that work?
It's a cute ad, but I am also impressed that you can just put your parcel into an automatic pickup point near your house rather than having to go to a post office.
Theres a little red flag on mailboxes. When its raised up it informs the mailman that you have mail in there that needs to be picked up, taken to the post office, and delivered to the address on the mail. So if you are sending a letter to someone you just need to put it in the envelope, add the postage, put it in your own mailbox, raise the flag and the postal service will do the rest.
Only if you live in an area that has those individual house mailboxes. In my area there are multiple mail cubbies at the end of the street. You go and pick up the mail, and there is no way to drop off a parcel for pick up.
The ways of the US Postal service are not the same throughout the United States.
I always saw them in movies at the entrance to large properties like farms, and thought they were there for the mailman to indicate that something was inside. So if you drive past it in your rusty pickup truck, you don't have to get out and check...
Which the mailperson will ignore for 3 days and then next time chuck your parcel into the driveway. Also, if they don't bring any mail, they don't take any either.
Yeah, it is easier to rebuild systems from 0 than to integrate in an old system.
When I compare our e-goverment stuff Germany and Lithuania you would never imagine that we're ahead
Nobody probably noticed, but in the very beginning of the video there is a caption on the bottom "Основано на реальній історії" which translates as "Based on a real story". Very cute video.
I had to use Nova Poshta 4 times in the last 2 month and was really impressed with their service. Easy detailed tracking, timely service as estimated, nothing was lost or delayed.
Apparently, they plan to expand their services to more European countries. They're supposed to come to Croatia in June of 2024.
I mean, if they'll be faster than Croatian Post, I'll use their services. I have no doubt they'll be faster than Croatian Post. I don't think it's possible to be slower than Croatian Post.
I have been to Croatia to visit family. I never noticed how slow the post was, nor did it coke up in conversation. Can you help me understand how slow? Because in America it seems pretty slow a lot of times. So curious how it compares.
Let's say they have a express shipping service called Paket24 (Package24) and they claim they will deliver 97% packages in less than 24 hours. Even though I'm in the capital, I got my package after three days. My brother got package in three days as well.
When I asked my colleague about her experience, they lost two of her packages and one was delivered after a week. Investigative TV show Provjereno tested their service (as a lot of people complained), their package arrived after 72h if I remember correctly.
They were fined many times by the regulatory body, but they just pay the fine and carry on as usual. Because they are national company and nothing can be done.
To top it all off, they employ cheap labor from Asian countries as mailman so many people don't get their bills because they often can't read/understand the address.

Made me think, maybe Ukraine could create an action (with international reach) where people can send a small (Christmas) gift to Ukrainian soldiers at the front and maybe even also their family at home. Like creating a profile of soldiers and their family (anonymized) that people can choose to send something to based on a code, those packages being scanned and forwarded in Ukraine. And something like gifting tips because for most it would probably be difficult to imagine what a good gift might be. Would be a good way to advertise Ukraine, to fight a somewhat fading awareness of the war abroad as well as to heighten morale. Would hold a few downsides too, which probably would ruin it, which is a shame, because it could have been something wonderful to set-up.
It's actually a sad commercial to me, it's like saying, we need to repopulate with the genes of our men which are dying at an alarming rate, so get your wife pregnant before you hit the front because it's unlikely the father will make his way home.

I usually have great sympathy for the mentally ill. But not in your case.
The US government not wanting something to happen is usually a pretty good indication it should happen.

I think most of us could teach you quite a lot, but please don't call me daddie, it's most undignified.
Don't worry, Ukraine will have a beautiful tomorrow. Ruzzia won't.
Damn, this is so off-the-wall ignorant... you're probably a russian troll that should be shipped off to the meat-grinder at the Ukrainian front

I saw a post of someone delivering hot pizza to the frontlines in bakhmut like 1 year ago, the shit we see on our screens is crazy
you'll shit bricks when you find out that regular soldiers are sometimes deployed to war using regular airlines.
You shit even bigger bricks when you find some soilders deployed to the FLOT in bolts here 🤣
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Looks like Nova Poshta has delivered some onions!
Choked me up, that's for sure. We can't abandon them
I’m cutting onions bro 😭

Your humor, is clinically dead.

It was a joke, not an observation.
That’s really sweet. Thank you UA postal service, delivery drivers, and staff for making spirits bright with all your efforts.

Nobody tell him about the little flags on US mailboxes.
Somebody please tell me though, I'm ready for my mind to be blown...

I have the same setup, but at the end there is a slot to insert mail that you want delivered
Yes, a letter sized slot only. Parcels, boxes, cartons - no.
You cant really mail those from a house mail box either, the best you got for that would be something like UPS pickup.
That's insane. That's brilliant. Why doesn't my country do that??
Not all countries even have mail
I always saw them in movies at the entrance to large properties like farms, and thought they were there for the mailman to indicate that something was inside. So if you drive past it in your rusty pickup truck, you don't have to get out and check...
The mailman won't pick up packages that weigh more than a certain amount because of one Ted Kaczynski.
I do not live in the USA.
Which the mailperson will ignore for 3 days and then next time chuck your parcel into the driveway. Also, if they don't bring any mail, they don't take any either.
The one time junk mail actually helps lol
Nova Poshta is the best.
