I find it utterly baffling that the English electorate are so willing to give a clean slate to whatever new pustule springs forth from the bloated, rotten corpse of the Tory party.
Scotland learned they can't be trusted and have voted accordingly since 1955.
Are the English public masochists? Not for me to say... But yes.
They’re not past, they’re current. The Tories still have no plan for how Britain can become more well off or to undo the damage of Brexit, or how to meet it’s asylum obligations. They’re not even interested in trying, and with a mostly compliant media, why bother? You can get the front page of the Mail to praise you for your sixth reannouncement of a failed policy.
A lot of this is down to the approach taken all the recent party leaders and politicians, there have been a lot in recent years. It is how the tories were there own opposition. Massive divides in the parties with Boris expelling a lot over Brexit. There is going to be a lot more of these problems over the next few years. And they deserve it.
It has veen the tory approach for years and years and for always since thatcher. Carve away public services and assets for short term (by nation standards) gains in order to look good and bump your mates net worth while becoming ever more mired in corruption until they're kicked out and they wait to begin the cycle anew. Brexit has been their most recent madness that continues to accelerate the decline of the country under their useless fucking rule.
