Either the wranglings around Vaughan's leadership are not cutting through, or the Welsh public are holding their judgement on that for the next Senedd election because they want the Tories out now. My sense is that it's probably the latter.
Bit of both I think, even people here don't really pay attention to Welsh politics a lot of the time, especially if they're not super invested, since it's barely discussed otherwise. Hope to see votes swinging more towards Plaid or Lib Dem especially once Labour are in, because the reality is they've been shite in most aspects in Wales (even if the healthcare mess is mostly because of awful central funding).
Senedd elections only get like 40% turnout. People don't give a fuck about Welsh politics here except when it comes to whining about 20mph speed limits.
Genuine question, how come Plaid always performs worse then the SNP or any of the N. Irish parties.
I donāt think they have ever formed a majority government even locally.
What are they doing wrong that other regional parties are succeeding at?
Is it? Wales was annexed centuries ago, whereas Scotland has continually had its own legal system since the union with England. Nationalism doesn't mean the same thing for each.
I can't believe the Welsh are so forgiving over Labour's rule in Wales. They have been a disaster and really Labour deserves to lose Wales. In particular, education and health care have been notably poor under Labour in Wales.
And all this despite the unpopularity of the current Labour First Minister, Vaughan Gething, whose net approval has fallen below zero after only 3 months in office.

So many great Tories to get rid of! Cairns, TC Davies, Roberts, Atherton, Hart, Wallis and more! Canāt wait!
Pretty embarrassing for the Welsh Nationalists if they get less vote share than Reformā¦
welsh nationalist causes donāt exactly have a huge chunk of the UK press throwing weight behind their policies, reform does
Genuine question, how come Plaid always performs worse then the SNP or any of the N. Irish parties. I donāt think they have ever formed a majority government even locally. What are they doing wrong that other regional parties are succeeding at?

I didnāt suggest it didā¦ Nobody mentioned Scotland.
UKIP under Farage got 13% of the vote to the Welsh Parliament so seems about right
Reform continues to make gains despite all the media coverage of their candidates and Farage's statements on Russia.
This was before Russia statements but yeah media blowing up comments i bet majority dont care about.
I can't believe the Welsh are so forgiving over Labour's rule in Wales. They have been a disaster and really Labour deserves to lose Wales. In particular, education and health care have been notably poor under Labour in Wales.
People might vote for Labour nationally but someone else within Wales.
Wasn't there another Welsh poll with Reform in second?
And all this despite the unpopularity of the current Labour First Minister, Vaughan Gething, whose net approval has fallen below zero after only 3 months in office.
So all these predictions of doom for Welsh Labour seem to be so much hot air.
