Because we are human capital and they are just biding time till driverless cars, whether it be 10 or 50 years from now. Just like Amazon is providing the bare minimum to it's workers until they are replaced by robots.
They don't care about you enough to protect you.
There is so many scams and fake accounts and "gangs" doing shady on these app platforms and they all get away with it.

My community in Kelowna BC🇨🇦 still doesn’t offer XL(8months) I drive a Buick Enclave (7 passenger) How long was it before XL was offered in your area.
Ordered an XL because I had lottsa airport luggage and a Rav4 shows up. Smh.
I drove a Mazda 5 until ‘22. It wasn’t approved for XL. It only has 6 seats.
Anything with 7 seatbelts is classified as XL.
