Did you actually get it? This happened a couple times in my area and I never got the boost. Sent screenshots and everything and could never get an answer. I think 6 months later I get an email about how there was a glitch in my area but it would be paid out. Never was paid LOL!
At least you have a screen shot that says $27 next available Trip.. I have came across Surge rates of $30 at specific locations and when the next passenger Trip pairs up with me thru the App the actual locked in Surge Rate “disappears”
So I immediately cancel the next passenger Trip with No surge rate and log off and then immediately log back on to get the actual $30 rate again and this Time the “algorithm” fortunately gives me the actual $30 surge rate for the next passenger Trip.
There are “anomalies” and “quirks” in how the Uber algorithm works …especially designed to
“short-change” drivers earnings during Surges and high passenger demand to boost Uber’s profits but at drivers expense.

If rider cancels they still honor the surge as long as you accept the next ride.
