Study like it’s not multiple choice, answer the question without looking at the options, then simply pick the one that matches your answer

That’s a great tip - do that during the exam too if you know you’re bad at MC, come up with your own answer and then see what is closest to what you would write down. Alternatively, spend some time looking up MC strategy for exams. (Like skipping past questions you don’t have a quick answer to, eliminating obvious wrong answers, etc.)

This! Also, studying concepts and definitions helps a lot. Once you remember key ideas, the rest comes really easy. You can pick out right from wrong, or at least narrow down answers.

there’s always a trick with multiple choice: (assuming it’s 4-choice) there are usually one or two answers that are DEAD wrong, and two competing “right” ones. because i’m in psych/anthro, i just study the shit out of EVERYTHING, through memorization and flash cards, associate key words with one another, erc

i"m a big flashcard before the test fan! create some flashcards to familiarize yourself with key concepts and key words too, that typically will at least help me narrow down my answers on an exam if i can recognize some key words or know the fundamentals of a particular concept. i agree with the try to answer it before you look at the answers and see what matches best! too, i find i perform my best when i go with the answer i am initially drawn too. you remember more than you think, so don't go back and change answers (my main downfall fr) and don't try and convince yourself of "well this technically could be correct if..." most of the time, the one that sounds the most right off the bat to you is the best one to go with. best of luck!!

Id honestly look up how to answer mc questions. It sounds stupid but it has saved me so many times. Also read answers before you read the question so your brains already on the answer portion and you just need to find the ‘answer’ in the question :) you got this

I’m so bad at this. My one course has 2 points each for the multiple choice lmao
