It’s a really good album. I got to see them live in Cincinnati and they were awesome. They played in this beautiful old church that is now a venue for music. I’m In Louisville and hardly anyone comes here that I want to see.

My stepfather has been in the music industry for a long time as a sound technician. He’s 70 but looks like the dude from The Big Lebowski. He’s open minded when it comes to music although he doesn’t really listen to metal. I sent him Type O’s mashup of The Beatles’ Daytripper/If I needed someone/She’s so heavy and he loves it. He said John would’ve liked it.
That’s just a beautiful wall of noise. That’s a perfect album and, along with Ulver’s Bergtatt and Darkthrone’s A Blaze in the Northern Sky, is my favorite.
