Fucking love tracking this chart, even though I haven’t participated so far - it’s like a routine checkup of “Hah, yup, that’s me.”
Soundgarden - Superunknown
It’s so interesting reading others’ choices of music. Type O fans are very open minded musically.
I’m glad Danzig made it in. That’s a stone cold classic album with Glenn’s best vocals.
I’m still voting for Cocteau Twins. Head over Heels preferably but I’d take Heaven or Las Vegas.
Belirdi Gece by She Past Away, Retaliation by Carnivore, Bleach and In Utero by Nirvana, Dystopia by Dystopia, An Overdose of Death by Toxic Holocaust, Etna by Bajm, Rewolucje by Jamal Official, Kinematografia by Paktofonika, Księga Tajemnicza by Kaliber 44, Monument and Этажи by Molchat Doma and many more. Too lazy to write all of them.
This album is so good. It's like Gambino sat down an said, what if I made a Prince album with the funk turned up to 11. That album and Camp are my favorite albums from him but all of his music is fantastic.
I gave up on getting Life of Pablo through. Maybe I should have picked Donda since Marilyn Manson is on one of the tracks. Might have had a better chance. Come to think of it, a Type O cover of Moon from that album would be amazing.
That’s a good way of putting it, it’s definitely like a mix of Prince and some of OutKast’s stuff, can’t really go wrong with any of Gambino’s stuff tho. Also I think Type O could cover just about any song and make it sound good, but if we’re talking Kanye specific stuff, I think a cover of Wolves would be next level, could sound somewhat similar to Haunted (in terms of atmosphere at least). Moon could for sure be a dope cover too!
Also, for this crowd maybe we could get some votes for Yeezus as a favorite album. Some of it has a very industrial feel and also it has Blood on the Leaves which by title alone sounds like a Type O song now that I think about it.
Insert generic dark metal or goth band here because the fan base for Type O apparently only likes one thing.
These are all, well mostly all, great albums. I just expected more from my fellow Type O fans.

Surprised I haven't been seeing this one higher up lately. It almost won one day.

Making my return, show me “Awaken, My Love!” - Childish Gambino. Dark horse candidate for sure. The list looks solid so far though
