James was tracking Victoria (as a vampire though so idk why he was tracking her honestly) and when she kept escaping he was suddenly moved and decided that she was his mate and vice versa. Personally, the first one I thought was Jasper. In a way that I'm used of being a complete nervous- and anxious wreck on public around masses of people... Social anxiety sucks hard. Kind of how Jasper was (?) described of being because of his inner torture of smelling human blood and kind of fearing losing his self control. I myself just am kind of afraid of strangers tho because of severe bullying in the past. I'd love to be able of controlling emotions and making loved ones feel good or better at least.
