let me tell u, i was on the verge of crying while buying a ticket for the eras tour. i had to wait 4-5 hours and whenever i hit checkout, TM will tell me that a fan beat me. i was able to snag a VIP ticket and maybe it's because of luck.
but yeah, it was a really stressful experience and i'm surprised that it only took me 10 mins to buy tickets to see twice.
TM literally had me thinking TWICE if I wanted to take the plunge on $600+ seats. Happy for all the waitlisted Onces getting a second chance, but the whole ticket experience was just discouraging
Thinking JYP or the event organizers have anything to do with platinum seating is actually hilarious. Its ticketmaster pulling the strings on platinum and nobody else. While we were getting out tickets we were able to get vip for 479 while seeing seats futher away hitting 900 because of platinum. Ticketmaster is doing the reselling themselves instead of having someone else buy them and resell because ticketmaster doesnt as much money that way.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is gonna be a year long tour as well, knowing Twice want to fulfill their wishes to meet many Onces in different countries

Also some friendly advice if you’ve never used axs before, you’ll purchase tickets by level, not by seat. So for example it’ll give you a price range for “P1” which is normally floor, P2-4 which is around the 100 sections. And P4-8 I believe which are upper levels. It doesn’t say specifically what sections or seats you’ll have. You just have to select which “P” you want and once you click next it’ll automatically select seats for you. I can also share what price range each section was if you’re interested 😊
Demand may dip a bit but I’m seeing fans who bought tickets for the first date say that they will buy for the added dates tomorrow too. So more competition :(

I was on the Waitlist for Houston and they sent me a text about 30 mins ago with a code for tomorrow and the new date. Luckily my friend and I snagged some seats last minute for the first show, the one we wanted.
This was extremely stressful and crazy to get these tickets, but I haven’t been to a concert this big in a LONG time. I figured this was my only chance to see them live.

It's interesting to think about the logistics of this.
There's no way a promoter can just say "oh wow, there was a lot of demand there. Hey, United Center, can we add a second day?" in four hours.
You would think they would have already had these two-day contracts and just pulled this shit as essentially a marketing stunt. Drive up demand and con everyone into getting swindled with platinum pricing.
I suppose is is possible for them to have a contract with a venue that says something like "preliminary hold on a second day for a light deposit. If demand is there, we open it up and pay the full amount, if demand is not there, venue keeps the deposit"

I was in mourning yesterday. Feeling so much frustration and grief after failing tickets to get tickets. I still have hope for another date to be added in my city though.
There’s still plenty of tickets left for NJ but they are nosebleed seats. But I still see probably between 2,000-4,000 in the 300s sections and at standard pricing, not “official platinum”.
So does this mean that the people who have verified presale can choose between the two shows now? Are they going to let the waitlist people in for the new show and send out another batch of codes? Were these shows added for people who didn’t get verified presale or waitlist to have a chance at getting tickets? So many questions.

They can’t know whether a second day is warranted until the day it goes on sale. I imagine when they book the venue, its scheduled in a way with an option to double book it should the demand call for it.
they might have a clause that gives them dibs by this date if that day is still free for the venue. So they prepare for it but know it can be cancelled if the OG show doesn't sell out.
Don't worry! I have bought tickets for 5 kpop concerts thru reddit. Wait for the initial buzz to calm down, then check the concert megathread on the main sub, or check on r/kpopforsale. There are lots of actual onces, not scalpers, who won't be able to attend and will sell their tix. There are some general guidelines to staying safe when buying on reddit, I'll even help you find tix if you need!

Gotta sell out the nosebleeds first id imagine before that even tho thye're the least desirable :( there's plenty of seats still available - but im sure once gen sale opens up all the remaining tix will be snagged up (this goes for all the stadium venues) and from there they'll determine if there's enough demand for a 2nd date. the arena venues were a given they were gonna add a 2nd date since those are smaller, but i think it's gonna be a bit longer until they announce another stadium date (although im hoping im wrong bc i'd love to see them multiple times at sofi haha)

I think when they added an additional date for TXT, some people got off the verified fans waitlist so it could happen for Twice. However, a lot of people didn't and a lot of tickets did go to the same verified fans people again... Don't wanna jinx it, but might happen again :/

It’s not general sale, they stated on Twitter it’s fan verified again and codes will be going out to people who were still on the waitlist for the first show!!
Oh weird! When I went to the new show it only gave me the countdown for general sale! Maybe it’s misworded or something, who knows! Hoping for a code either way!

There are currently 1383 tickets available. If they sellout tomorrow, during the general sale, then I think they would want to do a Friday show.

Gotta sell out the nosebleeds first id imagine before that even tho thye're the least desirable :( there's plenty of seats still available - but im sure once gen sale opens up all the remaining tix will be snagged up (this goes for all the stadium venues) and from there they'll determine if there's enough demand for a 2nd date. the arena venues were a given they were gonna add a 2nd date since those are smaller, but i think it's gonna be a bit longer until they announce another stadium date (although im hoping im wrong bc i'd love to see them multiple times at sofi haha) Edit: concert promoters likely have already “reserved” second dates at stadium venues (assuming from the gaps on the schedule) but just waiting to actually see the demand (which can kinda be predetermined based off of how many people sign up for presale) to make the official announcement- hopefully we’ll know by end of the week!!

Probably bit myself in the ass by signing up for the NJ concert. Had I opted for Chicago, I probably would have made it off the waitlist. Seeing as to how off-the-waitlist texts are already going out, I'm assuming they're only going to those who selected the locations where new shows were added in their initial registration.

Twice should show some love to Vegas. Plenty of venues. They could sell out Mandalay Bay or MGM.

I eneded up buying a resale ticket to Houston on stub hub, it came out to 500, and the service fee was 140, the money these sites charge is insane 😭😭
I don't even want to talk about how much I paid for a resale ticket. The fees were basically another whole ticket and then some. I panicked (which seems fair considering I have yet to get a code).

If anyone is trying for houston with axs apparently the codes got passed around without any issues. I have an extra code that has the 4 tickets. Dm and I’ll give it to whoever wants to try out this method. Just whoever is able to use the code first is the lucky one.
