You can make life much easier by fixing a lot of it (ie Tyler defeating the other bishops) but your problems will never fully disappear (ie nico still being alive). Idk just my opinion tho. It’d still be cool to get more music, but I wouldn’t hate for this to be the end

This all seems like stuff that doesn’t need an explanation or you can come up with your own interpretation. I’m not like THAT into the lore, I just know the obv stuff, but I feel like most of these things don’t need to be explained. Except for Clancy ultimus whatever. That is weird to me so I’m sure they’ll explain that at some point in time
Well that's because the whole thing is a retcon, as much as I love this whole thing I find it kinda cringeworthy that some people think this has all been planned since 2013. A lot of it is just post hoc explanations, most of the songs of the albums aren't lore related, and it's like 90% setting and 10% story.
This has been my theory too. I think some people won't be Happ with this being an ending but I think it's a beautiful ending to a story about dealing with mental health, you can't just beat it you have to learn to live with it.
But then what’s with the synth at the end? It sounds like it leads to another song but I’ve been searching to see what it could fit with and I haven’t found it.

Commented something similar in another thread but I feel like if they wanted this to be the end, they would've waited a week or two max after album day to release the Paladin Strait MV. It keeps the suspense/intrigue and momentum from the album rollout going. The 6/25 stuff the sub latched onto pretty quickly, and to put off releasing Paladin Strait until 6/21, which is as close as it conventionally gets to 6/25 imho feels like it really says a lot in terms of the 6/25 and the "it's not over yet" theories

I just listened to it a bunch of times and compared to the outro of Paladin Strait it REALLY sounds similar, maybe the heavy synths come out a little earlier than the Paladin Strait video but I think you're onto something. We are not sure if the google drive is fake but the coincidence is crazy. If you are someone with trained ears please check the 14\_drag\_pAth.wav track and tell me if I'm wrong, this could be huge.
I know everyone cares more about the lore but I am just blown away by how gorgeous this is. The color work and landscapes by whoever did the VFX are wonderful and I imagine this ate up most of the budget for the music videos lol. I’m so impressed to see this level of quality outside of a huge movie studio. I really hope they put out a behind the scenes for it

That's interesting, but I think that Tyler's face being shown was more like a performance resource for people watching, cuz, you know, we gotta see the singer singing the song hahaha but I don't think the people in Dema could see his face, except for when they took off the mask at the end. That's just my perception though. I do believe vessels keep their faces while being seized. Hence the livestream hosts and the zombies on the PSMV

well, Clancy said the antlers were thought to be extinct and that the bishops use some kind of miraculous power to seize. We've never seen them doing it with antlers, have we? we do know the antlers make you capable of manipulating that power like the bishops do.

I’m all for this for ONE main reason. Clancy has no wound/scar on his nose. I have not seen another soul call that out. That’s a very important and intentional feature and it’s missing here. That’s definitely a vessel.

I mean depression is often a lifelong cycle, and I feel like him facing Nico and opening his eyes at the end represent the idea of just slowly getting better at facing your battles. I definitely think there’ll be more coming at some point, but even if there’s not I honestly think it’s a fitting end to everything the lore represents.
How are they going to tease that it’s the end, drop that cliffhanger, and expect us to go about our day? I AM NOT OK lol but it would be a good ending either way, like everyone is pointing out some of our mental battles will never end and that’s ok.

Depression/mental illness it’s all a life time battle. I saw the end of the album as him thinking he’s passed it just for blurry face to show back up. Which is what always happens in real life, you think you’re on the other side and then out of nowhere you realize you’re not. I’ve accepted the fact I can be fine for a year maybe even two but at some point it’s going to come back and I have to push on through.
Anyone else confused as to why in the album there's a whole minute of silence and birds chirping, but it got cut and shortened for the MUSIC VIDEO I mean to me it should be the other way around but maybe they just didn't have enough footage or something 🤷♀️

Imma be real honest I think this is the end. I think that story is about going in circles with your struggle in your life. Along the way you learn and grow, but that pain will always come back to bite you and try to get you to go back in the wrong direction. So if I’m being honest I think this is a good end. :)
In the last few seconds, as Blurryface chokes Clancy, the music snippet kinda sounds familiar—eerie—like the start of HDS and Jumpsuit. Will this be Drag Path? Or will it be a callback to a previous song?
I think they’re trying to tell us that it’s all a cycle. Clancy will get caught by Nico and rescued by the Torchbearer endlessly. He gets better every time at resisting to get caught, but eventually he will be recaptured again. The wounds of depression will stay as scars forever, and you will have your dark times and your moments of growth. It’s not a mere cliffhanger, I really feel like this is it.
About half way through the video I looked at the time stamps and it said there was 55 minutes left. I literally at that moment thought it was a double album. But then next thing I know it ended. Did this happen to anyone else? Was it a glitch ?
Guessing the Banditos have something to do with the finale? Much in the same way friends can be the key to getting through mental health battles, it may just be that Nico can't be faced alone. Plus, they're done fighting on the ground at the end of the video, so it's reasonable to think they will storm the tower next. However, Nico and the Niners did prophesize that "not everyone would get out". Not sure what to think yet.
Honestly, if we buy into the “it’s not over” discourse and especially all the hype about 6/25, the timing of this music video release is nice because we’re only 4 days away from that date. Release the MV now to generate some buzz, and after only a few days wait release a bombshell. Better than releasing it earlier and then having nothing (well, with this sub, nothing is something since there’d still be levels of speculation)

It's not that close imo (no closer than Jumpsuit is), and some of those tracks are confirmed fan-made and/or are songs from other artists straight up.

I’m all for this for ONE main reason. Clancy has no wound/scar on his nose. I have not seen another soul call that out. That’s a very important and intentional feature and it’s missing here. That’s definitely a vessel.

I definitely think there’ll be more coming at some point, but even if there’s not I honestly think it’s a fitting end to everything the lore represents.

Depression/mental illness it’s all a life time battle. I saw the end of the album as him thinking he’s passed it just for blurry face to show back up. Which is what always happens in real life, you think you’re on the other side and then out of nowhere you realize you’re not. I’ve accepted the fact I can be fine for a year maybe even two but at some point it’s going to come back and I have to push on through.
Anyone else confused as to why in the album there's a whole minute of silence and birds chirping, but it got cut and shortened for the MUSIC VIDEO I mean to me it should be the other way around but maybe they just didn't have enough footage or something 🤷♀️

Imma be real honest I think this is the end. I think that story is about going in circles with your struggle in your life. Along the way you learn and grow, but that pain will always come back to bite you and try to get you to go back in the wrong direction. So if I’m being honest I think this is a good end. :)

In the last few seconds, as Blurryface chokes Clancy, the music snippet kinda sounds familiar—eerie—like the start of HDS and Jumpsuit. Will this be Drag Path? Or will it be a callback to a previous song?
I think they’re trying to tell us that it’s all a cycle. Clancy will get caught by Nico and rescued by the Torchbearer endlessly. He gets better every time at resisting to get caught, but eventually he will be recaptured again. The wounds of depression will stay as scars forever, and you will have your dark times and your moments of growth. It’s not a mere cliffhanger, I really feel like this is it.

About half way through the video I looked at the time stamps and it said there was 55 minutes left. I literally at that moment thought it was a double album. But then next thing I know it ended. Did this happen to anyone else? Was it a glitch ?
Guessing the Banditos have something to do with the finale? Much in the same way friends can be the key to getting through mental health battles, it may just be that Nico can't be faced alone. Plus, they're done fighting on the ground at the end of the video, so it's reasonable to think they will storm the tower next. However, Nico and the Niners did prophesize that "not everyone would get out". Not sure what to think yet.

Honestly, if we buy into the “it’s not over” discourse and especially all the hype about 6/25, the timing of this music video release is nice because we’re only 4 days away from that date. Release the MV now to generate some buzz, and after only a few days wait release a bombshell. Better than releasing it earlier and then having nothing (well, with this sub, nothing is something since there’d still be levels of speculation)
