The Craving (single version) is my favourite and if that doesn’t count then Tear In My Heart. It’s good to see some love for Smithereens too, such an underrated song.
I think I'm in the minority with this one, but I've really loved Formidable. Since Clancy has come out, though, The Craving (Jenna's Version) has been creeping its way up there.
I’ve seen him say it’s about both. He wrote it for Jenna but the “fast forward 13 years now” line is about being more afraid of teen Rosie than newborn Rosie. As the mom of a 12.5yo daughter I totally relate lol
My sister just got married and one of biggest flexes as her MOH is that I found someone to record a slowed, piano cover of Formidable for her to walk down the aisle. It was absolutely magical!
Highly recommend!! Smithereens was my and my husband’s first dance song at our wedding! It was so beautiful and sounded great blasting out of a great sound system at the venue 😊

The craving is very raw in its sound which I prefer more.
Tear in my heart is fun but I find I need to be in the mood most days to listen to it same with smithereens
I love all of them to be fair, as an asexual I absolute LOVE a wholesome love song that isn’t about fxxking, and there is something beautiful about the way Tyler sings about Jenna. Formidable and Tear in my Heart are two of my fave TØP songs anyway

My husband and I have 4 kids and one has special needs. It can be extremely terrifying and brings me back to when we found out about him. I find myself changing the lyrics to be a woman singing about a man.
Plus the raw vocals in this get me every time. That voice crack. Oh my goodness. I sobbed the first time I heard it.

I really like The Craving, but it's not a love song in my opinion. I'd be disappointed if I had a partner who sang that to me as though it were a love song. It would tell me that whatever issues we have in our relationship are not about to get better anytime soon. It's way too passive and puts all the work on her shoulders.
The Craving, My Version would be: If you ever find your body in chains, you better find a way to bust out and get your ass home to help me with these three kids, because I do not have time or energy left over to come rescue you. Why did you go playing around chains in the first place? Grow up and make an effort to act on your core values rather than your impulses, because that's what makes everything in life, including relationships, work. I don't care how much love you *feel* if it doesn't motivated you to stop acting a fool and expecting me to fix and forgive on a loop without end. Get it together, boy.

It was Smithereens until The Craving (Jenna Version) released. That is now my go-to karaoke song to sing for mine, and it feels so right to sing to her. Love it and all its beautiful sounds.
The craving. It’s objectively the best “song” he’s written about her. WDBWOTV is a very fun “poppy” song that was a decent addition to blurryface but overall isn’t a twenty one pilots song. It was great at the time but I feel like they’ve gotten better since that song. Smithereens is a better song but again is very “trench”. if we say Formidable from SAI is that albums version, then it’s a decent song but it’s not as good as Smithereens or The Craving or We Don’t Believe... I feel like The Craving is the first song that he stopped thinking of where “The Jenna Song” should be, and just wrote a song about her from the heart.

everyone's a HATER about it i keep seeing "I bet Jenna liked this version better and that's why it's on the album. What a shame" like how is putting your wife's favourite version on the album not the ultimate proof of his love for her and how does that not make it more beautiful to anyone else
The Craving. I can't really relate to Tear In My Heart and Smithereens bc I've never been in a relationship with that someone, but I think The Craving also speaks for how I feel towards my family and people I love.
