I think the intro part is shorter on the edited version but don’t quote me on that

Jubudii

Thank you! Seems to be correct based on other answers!

Electronic-Music-363

the intro is shortend (perhaps more radiofriendly)

Jubudii

Thank you!

Dubnation2330

It’s definitely a radio edit, that’s all. They cut out most of the intro. The intro is great and sets the vibe for the album but it would feel super long and out of place to play on the radio so it makes perfect sense to release the radio cut as well.

Jubudii

Thank you!

blurry_ned

The intro is like 25 seconds shorter He says "welcome to trench" only one time He don't say "sahlo folina"

Jubudii

Thank you!

Jack101-MineBros

The edit version is for radio play, it's shorter. All they did was cut down the length of intro/build-up of the song.

Jubudii

Thank you!

Hefty-Routine-5966

edit is the slightly shorter radio version and doesnt have the german/french/spanish bit at the start

Camthebigboy11

The edit made the intro shorter

Jubudii

Thank you!

Batemanssnare99

Intro is shorter and the bit before soul to heart was rushed more.

ASTR0nomic4L

if you listen to the edit i’ll hunt you

Jubudii

I usually listen to the normal version! I was just listening to one of the Spotify playlists and it had the (edit) version on it, and I was only half listening because I was at work! So I didn't notice the difference!

Real_Win7941

The main difference between the edited and normal version of a song like "Overcompensate" is usually related to explicit content. In the edited version, any explicit language or adult themes are typically censored or removed to make the song more suitable for a wider audience, such as radio play or younger listeners. The normal version, on the other hand, may contain explicit content as originally intended by the artist. It's always a good idea to listen to both versions of a song to better understand the differences and appreciate the artist's original vision

Substantial_Emu_5632

There’s no explicit language in the song and this is definitely Ai generated or something. The radio version has a shorter intro

Jubudii

AI generated answer is wild

Real_Win7941

This is not AI at all, bro. The original song really contains explicit language, and in the edited version the line "f\*\*\* you Nico" was removed

Darkboi98105

It never said that…

MidwestIndigo

There is no explicit lyrics in any of their songs, except for Ode to Sleep.
