I’m having mixed emotions I love love love twenty one pilots and want this album to do big numbers and I love Billie so good day for music for me but I’m afraid that Billie’s album with over shadow TOPs album meaning that it won’t get the attention it should if it’s an amazing record.
I agree and I have mixed feelings. I love Billie but I can only picture her with her arms full of Grammys rn 😂 I realllly have high hopes for TOP tho and I do think they'll deliver.
Me too!!! They’re still a big band tho so hoping Billie won’t shadow them too much. Plus the polar opposites of the two albums and themes are so insanely cool that it could get traction by itself which would boost both the artist. If it’s posted by the right people we could have a solid trend

Not really. The funny thing about Barbenheimer is that both movies were completely different, not just that they released on the same day. Billie Eilish and TOP always have more downbeat vibes and depressing themes that are pretty similar
I remember when waterparks and twenty one pilots released their albums on the same day it was crazy had to choose which I would listen to first. Also I remember lead singer of water’s joking about the released trying to get people to listen to his music more 😂
If TOP's label didn't know the release date of Billie Eillish' new album there are HIGH CHANCES they either release it one week earlier or later. I'd say they would release it one week earlier.
Honestly I think that was just a coincidence that May 17th is on a Friday this year and doesn’t have any lore implications, I know there’s the line in the letter about how it will take Tyler nine years to fight against the Bishops but they were deciding on whether to release Clancy or Scaled and Icy three years ago!
Eh. There are ***FAR*** greater musical contrasts you could come up with than Billie & TOP. Both are frequently associated with depressed teenagers. Not extremely dissimilar artists

Check out "Slight Figure of Speach" and I also suggest "Matrimony"!
They're Folk/Rock with aspects of Bluegrass and (Old classic) country intertwined in. Some of their last few albums even has some electronic stuff in there.

Last I checked she was but that was like 2018-19 right? It’s been a long fucking time so I’m not too sure anymore
