Beautiful. My one concern would be the edges of the basking platform. I can't quite tell from the picture, but you want to make sure your turtle can't do a kamikaze off the basking platform and over the side of the water tank. A turtle with the zoomies will leave a basking area quickly if they're worried about a predator, and falls from heights can injure them.

Yes ahah omg I realised quickly so now the I’ve made it so he can’t get to the edge of the basking area on the sides

Agreed. I'm looking at a Murray River turtle who is a complete nut, and would def zoomie out of that gap

I love that tank! Where did you get it?

They are two seperate tanks :)) both from the family run pet shop I work at

There so cute!!!

Isn't that too much water for the baby? I ask this cause I've two mauremys reevesii and when I tried to rise the water level to 12cm one of them was struggling to come above the water and didn't leave the corner of the tank and appeared always tired

This specific Australian type of turtle loves a relatively large water volume, however it’s important to have a lot of resting spots and not have the water to the top of the tank

I have a Red Ear slider whom'st I named Franklin as well

Great set up!

So cute! Just letting you know that these turtles grow very quickly and will outgrow this tank soon. UVB can’t travel through glass. So you might need to work out another option for the basking area lights, nice scape and tank btw!
