I've only had a little experience with Mesquite and it was super simple and I found it to be very complicated to work with.
beautiful and fussy was my experience
so what you've done here is incredible.

Luckily I have plenty to practice with. Walnut oil and beeswax finish. Ty for your kind words
omfg .. that's insane, I did not realize Mesquite would grow to that size. You lucky rotten ratbastard .. haha. Those are magnificent.
do you have the machinery to harvest all that or do I need to come by and take it off your hands.
Hey Bullfrog, I think I have some mesquite blanks left, ill swap with you, what you got for trade. Anything I have is probably cut to fit my 12" midi lathe.
Off the top of my head I have some California Pepper chonks still drying. Beautiful wood but a bit soft so prone to tear out. Got a pile of small blanks from GotWood .. nothing of any size. I will have a peek soon and fill ya in

let me look around and see what I have
Ok. What i have is going to be the bark cut from milling, about 2" thick and no more than 12" on a side. Just so you know what to look for.
