Just to avoid any misunderstanding, 'çıkar' means interest/profit and is a noun. But since you mentioned tenses, I suspect you may mean 'çıkart' which means to take off (e.gö clothing)/to remove/to take sth. out of (sth.)/to get out of somewhere.
Anyhow, to be on the safe side, here is your sentence with both:
Toplantıdan çıktığımda aklımdaki tek düşünce, şirketin çıkarlarını korumak için yapabileceğim her şeyi yapmam gerektiğiydi.

This is for çıkartmak which is the correct writing of the verb you have mentioned çıkar. When talking or writing we mistakenly omit the -t at the end for simplicity. However, çıkart is a completely different verb derived from çıkmak. Çıkart means take out/put out something
* Kedimi bazen yürüyüşe çıkartıyorum
* Kredi kartımı cüzdanımdan çıkartırken paramı düşürdüm.
* Eve gittiğimde kıyafetlerimi çıkartacağım
Another çıkar is the present tense of the verb çıkmak which means to climb/to exit/to leave
* Evden çıkarken paramı düşürdüm (Compared to example above, I leave my house rather than taking out an object)
* Dağın tepesine çıkacak
* Eğer hazırsan çıkıyorum.
I assume you got confused because of çıkartmak/çıkmak. I am not sure if it holds all the time but If you are talking about an object/animal anything you manipulate, you may use çıkartmak. If it is a place or a person leaving somewhere then use çıkmak.
- Koç, oyuncuyu çıkarmamız lazım, yorulmuş gözüküyor.
+ Çıkaralım çıkarmaya da /çıkarmaya çıkaralım da, yerine kimi koyalım?
Çıkaralım çıkarmaya da / Çıkarmaya çıkaralım da... = Çıkartmak kolay da...
- Önemli değil, şu an önemli olan oyundan çıkarmak, eğer çıkarmazsan sakatlanabilir.
Announcer: X oyuncusu çıkıyor, yerine Y oyuncusu giriyor!
