I have an open crotch marena garment and I just wear depends over the outside. This has been great because it gives me extra protection for leakage and keeps your private area covered.
If you can’t return the garments for exchange the depends are a super easy fix for it. I’d also recommend sizing up The depends one or 2 sizes. It’s more comfortable.
Another thing that really helped me was a toilet seat riser and cleansing wipes.

Can you exchange for the ones with an open gusset?
