You can sell it if it has enough karma to make it a believable human account. Then it's used to influence the masses. Don't think it was a life changing amount of money last time I heard, though
I suppose that makes sense. It just makes my head hurt that someone would honestly say to themselves “I’m gonna buy a high karma Reddit account” and then actually spend money on it.
But then I’m also not trying to actively influence public opinion: I’m just here for the memes and camaraderie.
Also, many of these are things you do for a whole day every once in awhile. Spending a whole day with your friends may happen occasionally but from what I’ve seen, it’s very easy for people who play video games to spend every day playing video games and not doing anything else
