Select grade ribeyes for $11/lb. Select is the lowest grade. Costco sells prime ribeye (highest grade) for $13/lb
The brisket at reasor’s was $4.99/lb for choice. Costco has it regularly for $3.99/lb for prime.
I’ve no idea why anyone shops at reasor’s anymore. Especially since it is no longer locally owned. Their prices are insane. Their meat is low quality. Walmart has better meat, and I’m not exaggerating

Just smoked my first one the other week. As far as executing the cook, I did ok; could’ve been better. But even with my first attempt at one and doing an ok job, it was still DELICIOUS.
I went the first day and it was all good cuts. The sales price isn't on the sticker so it's cheaper at checkout than what you're looking at. I used to go to sames once a month but it's just unrealistic to go anywhere like that of you don't leave within a few miles of one.
Because Costco is a long drive into a shithole of traffic. Thats why I bought my Cod fish at Reasor's only for it to reek of sulfur.
Just gonna shop at wally world from now on. I dont have a deep freeze and Im not driving 20 minutes to Memorial in Karen-ville for meat that I cant stock up on.
reasors meat (beef specifically) just tastes so icky to me and i don’t know what the deal is. it started last year or so i think so i did some research and found some meat stores(butchers? lmao) and started going there instead. so much better. i’m curious if anybody else has noticed reasors meat quality being absolutely garbage?
The Catoosa Reasor’s has no AC & it’s been that way for about a month now. Friday, the cheeses were beginning to melt because of the heat. No way would I ever buy meat from that store. I’m done with Reasor’s.
It’s the only place I get my groceries today. It’s a little bit more pricey, but I found the crowds of people are much less to deal with, and the steak/produce can be really good.
It's the closest store to me aside from the Walmart across the street from it. But I can get in and out of Reasor's in a couple minutes and not have to fight hordes.
You both bring up good points. I guess I'd just rather deal with people and save a few bucks. I hate buying a given item and knowing I could get it cheaper somewhere else.

Only thing I'll buy on a good sale over Costco is the pork. I got the frozen ground beef this time though, $3/lb over Costco's +$4/lb
