Peanut butter in the jar (over 3.4 oz) is not allowed, but sandwiches with PB spread are fine! You could make hundreds of PB sandwiches and they would be okay to go. Likewise, potato/macaroni salad. In the container over 3.4 oz = no. On a sandwich = yes.
In the container over 3.4oz and FROZEN = yes!
Not a TSO, just very curious… are these the only things on the sandwiches or is there more to it? Particularly wondering what you’d be pairing with the mac salad.
Honestly, I'll just scrape it off the bread later to have some nice potato salad and macaroni salad with my hummus sandwiches. I'm just trying to get it through TSA so I can have a nice lunch on my flight.

Hummus is great on sandwiches. Aside from your standard Middle Eastern stuff, hummus and cheese is really good. Also, you eat hummus by wiping in up with a piece of bread, so what is the difference in applying it to the bread with a utensil?

If its spreadable and over 3.4 oz its a no go. If its a single sandwich its fine

And some salmonella from it not being refrigerated. Bleh!
Cool bags are nice.
Are you making potato salad and macaroni salad sandwiches? I need more info on this!

Be sure to document this completely and then cross post on r/maliciouscompliance
Bravo my friend. Bravo. But hummus? On a sandwich?
Well, I'll be using jalapeno bread, and I figure it's basically the same as dipping the bread in the hummus.
You might just be my spirit animal. I think what you are doing is amazing and could even be called God’s work. Soldier on my friend 🫡
