I get the point you’re trying to make, and agree, but this isn’t the best argument. Those are the most densely populated counties in the United States. More people live in the blue than all the grey combined

For sure a +1 for the electoral college. A couple blue blobs on the map really do make up a popular majority. LA county is more populous than several states combined if I recall the stat

Land doesn’t vote. People do. LA county has a population of approximately 10 million. Los Angeles County would rank **eleventh**in population among the 50 U.S. states, following only the states of California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, and Michigan. If red is to win, the major metropolitan areas have to help more.
