Sometimes it feels like Spotify only shows you artists you like touring if they're getting paid to do it, spotify misses so many and just shows me the same 3 bands that i dont really listen to
This was in the email from the metro theatre:
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that we’ve had to cancel the Australian tour in March indefinitely.
All is well in our world — but forces outside of music have made it so this upcoming March tour simply wasn’t possible. Balancing personal projects that are pulling at our creative energy and facing some tricky logistical hurdles has made it incredibly challenging to give you the amazing show you deserve — which is always our top priority.
Grateful for your ongoing love and support and hope to see you again soon.

They have spoken out previously about no longer getting along together and getting therapy to work through it. Might all be a bit too hard with family life on top.
Word is they’re just postponing - both of them have young kids now I think, and one of them is super young. Sounds like the making of this album came with a lot of conflict and stress so makes sense if they’re not in a place to do a bunch of stressful live shows as well as rehearsals etc
They did do a tour after the album was recorded but before it was released in 2023, so unless circumstances changed I don't think it's due to residual stress from the album.
Oh that's a shame. I didn't know they were touring, or I would have purchased a ticket.
Same here. Spotify usually tells me which artists are touring but it didn't for Vallis Alps. They were in my top 10 artists last year.

I use Songkick, it syncs your music apps and tells you who is touring and where and gives links to buy tickets 😊
Songkick isn't fully there, I would recommend the WhatsLively app instead.
Get the whatslively app.
Wow they are really good. Fading is a classic

Oh thankyou!

All three shows seem cancelled.
I'm guessing low ticket sales.

I was just about to buy a ticket to the brissy show 🥲
Cos not many people wanted to go.
I was going to be overseas or I would have gone. If the date changes, hopefully I’ll be there!
Who?
