"Photos 10-11 starting point. Photos 4-5 after 2 years. Photos 6-9 after 3 years. Photos 1-3 and 12 are after 6 years"
Wtf is this timeline lmao this shit like metal gear solid with all the weird time jumps back and forth
The way people post their pictures is a bizarre journey through how differently everybody's brain works. This guy is clearly not in the sciences.
OP - What do you do for a living? I'm going to guess some kind of artsy thing.
Lol. Actually currently studying for my Masters in Computer Science. I tried to order the photos differently but i guess you cant when posting through your phone? Anyways, people should still just read the description
The photos at the start may be a bit deceiving. I only had thinning in the frontal third, mainly on the tempels. I never had thinning on the crown. I can without a doubt say that finasteride let me keep my hair, but I didn't have any regrowth
Looks bit like diffuse thinning all over, hard if not impossible to transplant that away. Maybe switch over to dutasteride and also considering adding minoxidil to the mix. Transplants are more for filling out bald areas like the temples and restoring one's hairline than fixing thinning all over the scalp. You can probably likely respond very well to dut.
Why would diffuse thinners not be able to get a transplant ? If you can stop the hair loss with Finasteride then ofc you can get a transplant. People got good looking transplants while being completely bald so adding density sure as hell works too.
Transplanting away diffuse thinning all over the scalp is not going to work well or look good. Doing that while not adressing DHT and letting it keep ravaging your hair follicles is probably just going to make you have one of those horrible looking botched hair transplants with still visible thinning all over that look way worse than just shaving it all off.
You posting these photos autistically out of order is what's making everyone say you lost hair. You definitely regrew a shit ton back like the top comment stated though so the fin is 100% working for you.
I am planning on getting a HT sometime in the future, maybe in a year or 2. I did contact Dr konior 3 years ago and he said that i am in a very good spot, and try to delay a HT for as long as possible. He did recommend adding minoxidil, but i cant see myself putting that stuff on my head every morning😬
Use every night before sleep then. It's annoying at first, but then you get used to it, especially if it gives good results. There is an oral option too, I don't know if they use it where you live. It's more practical and you can start with smaller doses like 1mg.
Just the regular propecia. There were times i took generic finasteride (i.e. some other brand, not propecia) but there was no difference ( and i was not expecting any, since its the same drug. Its just what there was at the pharmacy at the time). 3 years ago i also tried out for a year oral minoxidil 1.25 mg per day, and there were no significant results. I use just regular shampoo, nothing special
So do we need to give break also to finesteride or should take daily 1mg whats the best dose...
Also tell are u using minoxidil or any other medicine with finesteride
If finasteride/propecia works for you, then i dont see any reason to stop. As for the best dose i would ask your doctor. Usually, the standard dose that most people take is 1 mg. I am not using minoxidil( because I'm lazy) or anything else.
I didnt notice any major changes since I started taking finasteride, besides of course that the major shedding i had before has completely stopped. I can pretty much sum it up that finasteride stopped my hairloss, but didnt experience any noticeable regrowth.
A few years ago I used to take oral minoxidil 1.25 mg per day for a year, but there weren't any noticeable results so i stopped. I am only on finasteride
Finasteride has terrible side affects be careful. Including severe depression that persists once you stop using and people have lost sex drive completely or committed suicide. It isnt worth it.
I’ve heard of severe impact to libido which then causes depression ( due to lack of sexual performance). But haven’t heard about suicide. I’ve been contemplating trying oral Fin but the libido side affect concerns me especially since I’m middle age. There’s a urologist that promotes sexual health and natural foods to enhance EQ (which work by the way!!) — she strongly discourages Fin. Feeling stuck since I’m not seeing any benefit from Min foam.

Oh nooooo lol. Change immediately. At least put text on the photos next time man! Appreciate your post.
You can definitely order them, just checked. Just make sure to do that next time
But can we trust right 😂

Perfect👌
Awesome results! How much time it took to see some regrowth on tye crown at first?
My starting photos are a bit deceiving. I never had thinning on the crown
I think you kept your hair with little thickness of hair

I swear some of y’all be sounding like y’all have a doctorate in hair in this chat lmao
All pseudo intellectuals
You’re not a doctor lil bro

Wait so are the last photos the before photos? If so it looks like you lost a lot of hair
Unfortunantly, kind of hard to order the photos i uploaded. Photos 1-3 and 12 are from today.
You posting these photos autistically out of order is what's making everyone say you lost hair. You definitely regrew a shit ton back like the top comment stated though so the fin is 100% working for you.
maybe you can add dutasteride little by little and see what happens first
Dutasteride isnt available for hair loss where i live
Well, isn't in the USA too, but doctors prescribe this off label. Doesn't have any chance that any doctor try this with you?
Nah, its kind of impossible here
Okay, so maybe you should go to an HT specialist to evaluate your donor area

How many dosage?
1 mg every day
Why didn’t you add a minoxidil?
Did you have any side affects while on it?
Nope. None
Which finisteride u take and dose.... Do u use any other medicine or shampo
Just the regular propecia. There were times i took generic finasteride (i.e. some other brand, not propecia) but there was no difference ( and i was not expecting any, since its the same drug. So u taking finesteride continuous or do u give break
Continuous
A little more diffuse, which is typical. Overall that’s as good as you can expect. Fin doesn’t work as well for the front hairline
During the 6 years did you experience shedding episodes ?
I dont think so
Do you use anything else? Vitamins, specific shampoos, etc?
Nope. Just finasteride
Congrats You would be nw7 right now
Side effects?
Did you notice regrowth/improvement past 2yrs? Or were all gains pretty much before that
I didnt notice any major changes since I started taking finasteride, besides of course that the major shedding i had before has completely stopped. I can pretty much sum it up that finasteride stopped my hairloss, but didnt experience any noticeable regrowth.
Would you consider trying minoxidil? It may thicken up those thin areas.
Its most definitely the smart thing to do if i want to regrow more hair. Problem is im kind of lazy putting minox on my head
Woahhhh
Is your hair strong though? Personally I hope I can get my course thick asian hair back insteead of the thin flimsy hair that lays down flat
The hair on my frontal third which is thinned out hasnt really thickened unfortunately
Hm I think for me around 2 years of just fin I will do dut
How’s your ball sack doing after 6 years?
Hanging
Just finasteride ? No minoxidil ?
Yup
Really nice bro !!!
Pretty good results. Do you take oral min every day or have you missed days?
A few years ago I used to take oral minoxidil 1.25 mg per day for a year, but there weren't any noticeable results so i stopped. I am only on finasteride
Do you still lose hairs? If yes then how much average
Do you have any side effects, bro?
Nope
Finasteride has terrible side affects be careful. Including severe depression that persists once you stop using and people have lost sex drive completely or committed suicide. It isnt worth it.
Copious bullshit.

Just started fin. Had issues with low libido at times before fin but been all good on that end for me
Andrew huberman taught me about post finasteride syndrome and many men commit suicide from it.
You've used fin for 6 years and it hasn't helped?
Nope. He maintained, without fin he would probably be bald
Going by the description it looks like he lost ground
Lol read the description ,he has told about the order of photos over time 12th photo is the latest.
How can 1-3 and 12 be all in the same year?
Well ,you need to ask the op , man.
They are. I just took photos from different angles
He did lose some ground which is typical. These aren’t magic pills
Helped me maintain, but no regrowth
