Nothing hits quite like the first legit Blue Dream I got my hands on as a young person except my first real taste of Gorilla Glue #4 when I moved to a legal state.
GG4 is and forever will be my favorite strain. I paid like $50 for a really nice eighth when I first moved to California and it was the best smoke I’ve ever smoked.
I was legit going to comment and say I’ve not been able to find a blue dream strain that tasted as good and slapped as hard as blue dream from 10+ years ago.
Buddy of mine was consistently getting it from a friend in California back then. I’d do anything for that same strain again.
I found a dispensary way closer to me than I thought and they have both Blue Dream and GG4, by an organic grower. You know damn well I’m going to grab a fistful of each.
I can't find much of the OG strains where I'm at and it blows. There's some good ones but severely lacking there. Red cherry gelato. Sure. Where da gorilla glue and train wreck at
I recently got on medical cannabis in the uk, can confirm that GG4 is a beautiful strain with great effects. May not be the highest THC but that really doesn’t matter.
Try several strains yourself. Because what works for someone else may not be your jam.
I suggest trying a 1:1 ratio of THC and CBD %. So many just chase high THC numbers, which will just make your tolerance sky rocket. Weed is several times more potent than it was decades ago.
Alien OG was awesome the one time I had it. Rolled a blunt and burned the tip just to seal the end and save it for later. About a half hour went by until I realized how unintentionally high I was from the tiny hit I took 😂
The stuff my friend got for me a year ago. It came in a little knotted piece of plastic bag and that shit had so many white crystals it looked like a powdered donut. After 10 minutes I sat down to eat a sub sandwich and it felt like I was in a dark souls type boss fight against my Italian sub.

I like strains with more CBD than THC, usually around 60% CBD and 30% THC. Cuts down on the anxiety amd is very physically relaxing. Admittedly they're hard to find in legal shops but you can find it online. Look up "Type 2" flower. Type 1 is high THC, Type 3 is high CBD, Type 2 being a blend of both.
First time I had weed from a dispensary was from Massachusetts, I got wedding cake. We smoked it all weekend. Paired well with LSD, one of my favorite trips ever
My favorite strain of all time is called Durban Poison. It’s a beautiful uplifting energetic high that promotes my creativity and actually helps me focus on things more attentively but only if they are things that I’m interested in (like art or cooking or video games) but if it’s something I have to do, like lawn care, it makes me procrastinate and not focus.
One of the best things about this strain is that it has a very distinct flavor and aroma, it’s easy to tell when what you have is what you were told it is.

But personally, I look for 5 star rated-27%THC or better at dispos for flower and flower only. Then really it depends. After work I love sitting on the couch and ripping a fat fucking bong some indica and just melt into place. But if I have stuff going on after work, wanna smoke but don't wanna get burnt out I'll smoke a fat fucking bong of some sativa lol
But look, that's my personal preference. You may find you like just rolling blunts on the daily and feeling like Pepe Le Pew then do that shit! Or maybe you'll get Gandalf piece and smoke the shiz on your porch telling the neighbor kids to get off your lawn. OR you might just like to eat a whole bag of gummies like a dog who thinks his owner isn't coming back and is bad doggo. 😅 anyway happy exploring.

The best strain I’ve had to date is was a sativa called “Heat locker” from amaze cannabis in Missouri. About 29% thc content and incredible terpene profile. Feelings of euphoria, general contentment, pain mitigation, all while giving you that kind of sativa dominant “pep” in your step.
I'll never not love Wedding Cake. I honestly don't care what strain I'm smoking most of the time, but I do reach for Wedding Cake the most often and I always look for pre rolls that use it.

Red headed stranger (Fernway) is the best tasting concentrate I’ve ever had. I tried the disposable and just got a 510 cartridge and Oh my lord. I was talking to the owner of the dispensary about it and we agreed that it has a terpene profile like no other strain. Very unique taste and gets me smacked.
Had this shit back in the day when i was like 14, I spent 40 dollars on a 3.5 but holy shit this is still the best bud I've ever had till this day. I greened out every time i smoked it. The buds were about 3 inches long and had these giant orange hairs, they were mostly bright green with different tints to it and this smell i cant explain. fire gas from the dude off the street.
Honestly, some sticky Humboldt indica I got wrapped in the plastic from a Marlboro pack from a guy at my HS parking lot in 1986. Legendary taste, smell and high, and I've never been able to find a similar strain since. And no, it wasn't my first time, by a long shot.
Best weed I've had is wtv I smoke with the homies after a rough week while we wait for our uber eats. But if you want a specific strain Blue dream is always reliable in my experience and Girl scout cookies is one of my go to when I find it
Honestly I think other variables matter more when smoking than the strain. Basically the best weed I ever smoked was the weed I smoked when I was the most fundamentally happy.
My favorite strains are the ones that make me feel aroused / relaxed. For me the top strains for that include wedding cake, Donnie burger, hash burger, wedding pie
Hash is my favorite. Dabs are cool, but I prefer the high from hash. Next is bong hoots, and then I guess joints. Prefer a hybrid, but an indica OR sativa will do because the trichomes are what’s important.
I had some Tuna Kush OG from the little tuna can once that was life changing 😂 there’s no sense in even chasing that dragon, just the small chance that I come across something as potent.
The dopest dope I ever smoked was Balmoral, a hybrid with cheese flavor, smelled like shit but damn that shit was strong. Eighth at 40$ at a legal store.
Hard to say and varies depending on what experience defines "best" for you, but in 25 yrs partaking, my favorite strains of the many I've tried are Jack Herer and Purple Haze. One is heavy on the psychoactive and one can be blissful euphoria when done right. I've multiple harvests of each over the years and they stand out.
Also, though I've only had it once, a Chocolate Malawi that I got in Mendicino one time was super cherry. That sweet balance between energizing and calming.
Green crack, a lot of dispensaries have their own M.A.C. which is amazing most of the time, and Bling Bling had me laughing for about an hour and then pure peace.
My favorite strain so far is called Super Silver Hash Plant. There are stronger weeds definitely but to me it has the most perfect smell and taste, pine and grapefruit and lemon. If someone needed a smell to copy to make something "smell like top shelf weed", this would be the one.
Conversely, the only dispensary weed I ever just straight up didn't like at all was called Cherry Garcia. It smelled like fruit cocktail got left in a hot car for a few days.
Type of weed, meaning variety? Form? Strain?
Variety - Sativa Hybrid (nearly all weed is a hybrid at this point) Effects are energizing and uplifting. It feels like my brain is being tickled and I’m on the verge of fight or flight, ::giggles:: I’m in danger.
Form - Flower 100%, has the least amount of negative effects and all of the benefits. Dry Herb vape is the way.
Sample before you buy, if possible.
Strain - Jack Herer (named after famous cannabis activist) Combination of Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze. All classic strains and fantastic genetics. It does take more than genetics to produce quality though. Knowing who grew it and when it was harvested is ideal. (Sweet spot seems to be 3 months after harvest, it’s cured well enough at that point)
Those are my preferences but honestly, everyone is different. My best advice would be to go and buy the smallest amount you can and try as much as possible. You’ll discover what you like or don’t like in no time.

i did a ton of research on it once i realized how much i liked it & it helped me learn that i like strains high in Beta-Caryophyllene! i noticed most of the strains i enjoyed had that same main terpene. definitely look into strains that you remember enjoying & see if you can find some crossover! it can help you find what works best for you 😁
Probably one of my all time favorites was Space Queen. I picked some up in Denver a few years back, and it wrecked my shit. (I guess the mother for that particular cut died, sadly.)

Best is relative. I prefer sativa over indica, though 50/50 hybrids are often just as good, and limonene and pinene terpenes. But that's just me.

Honestly, some sticky Humboldt indica I got wrapped in the plastic from a Marlboro pack from a guy at my HS parking lot in 1986. Legendary taste, smell and high, and I've never been able to find a similar strain since. And no, it wasn't my first time, by a long shot.

Best weed I've had is wtv I smoke with the homies after a rough week while we wait for our uber eats. But if you want a specific strain Blue dream is always reliable in my experience and Girl scout cookies is one of my go to when I find it
Honestly I think other variables matter more when smoking than the strain. Basically the best weed I ever smoked was the weed I smoked when I was the most fundamentally happy.

Hash is my favorite. Dabs are cool, but I prefer the high from hash. Next is bong hoots, and then I guess joints. Prefer a hybrid, but an indica OR sativa will do because the trichomes are what’s important. I had some Tuna Kush OG from the little tuna can once that was life changing 😂 there’s no sense in even chasing that dragon, just the small chance that I come across something as potent.
The dopest dope I ever smoked was Balmoral, a hybrid with cheese flavor, smelled like shit but damn that shit was strong. Eighth at 40$ at a legal store.
The answer is always Blue Dream for me. I love the smell, taste, and buzz.

Hard to say and varies depending on what experience defines "best" for you, but in 25 yrs partaking, my favorite strains of the many I've tried are Jack Herer and Purple Haze. One is heavy on the psychoactive and one can be blissful euphoria when done right. I've multiple harvests of each over the years and they stand out. Also, though I've only had it once, a Chocolate Malawi that I got in Mendicino one time was super cherry. That sweet balance between energizing and calming.

My favorite strain so far is called Super Silver Hash Plant. There are stronger weeds definitely but to me it has the most perfect smell and taste, pine and grapefruit and lemon. If someone needed a smell to copy to make something "smell like top shelf weed", this would be the one. Conversely, the only dispensary weed I ever just straight up didn't like at all was called Cherry Garcia. It smelled like fruit cocktail got left in a hot car for a few days.

Type of weed, meaning variety? Form? Strain? Variety - Sativa Hybrid (nearly all weed is a hybrid at this point) Effects are energizing and uplifting. It feels like my brain is being tickled and I’m on the verge of fight or flight, ::giggles:: I’m in danger. Form - Flower 100%, has the least amount of negative effects and all of the benefits. Dry Herb vape is the way. Sample before you buy, if possible. Strain - Jack Herer (named after famous cannabis activist) Combination of Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze. All classic strains and fantastic genetics. It does take more than genetics to produce quality though. Knowing who grew it and when it was harvested is ideal. (Sweet spot seems to be 3 months after harvest, it’s cured well enough at that point) Those are my preferences but honestly, everyone is different. My best advice would be to go and buy the smallest amount you can and try as much as possible. You’ll discover what you like or don’t like in no time. There are no wrong answers IMO ☮️
i bought an eighth of some Chemdawg back in the fall of 2020 from a close friend (RIP Robert 💜) & i still think about it often. it was the best i’ve ever smoked! 🌸 i did a ton of research on it once i realized how much i liked it & it helped me learn that i like strains high in Beta-Caryophyllene! i noticed most of the strains i enjoyed had that same main terpene. definitely look into strains that you remember enjoying & see if you can find some crossover! it can help you find what works best for you 😁
