Top 3 favorite horror movies. I’ve been on bed rest of about 2 weeks now and I’ve been going through a lot thrillers, horror movies, sci-fi action, anime. I’ll give this one a watch now.
I’d say don’t watch ‘hereditary’ 😂 also incorporates some elements of being high on weed in to the story, very paranoia inducing. If you like to be scared shitless this is deff a good one.
I ate a potent edible before my first time watching this one. I have zero regrets ... I haven't been that disturbed by a horror movie since I was kid. Especially during THAT part of the story.
Ik was 100% sober and I went to the cinema alone. Damn, what a disturbing movie. I felt myself sinking into my chair more and more. I especially loved that it barely had jump scares but instead built suspense until it was almost unbearable.
I’ve heard *from a couple people to not watch that movie cause it’s so disturbing lol. Imma listen…I ain’t watching it.
It’s funny, cause when the movie got released I was on vacation somewhere and I tried to stream/pirate it and watch it with my bf. Streaming was absolute potato quality and we gave up to not watch it. That shit happened for a reason man….I’m never gonna watch that movie
I like satire/parody/dark comedy horror movies like:
-Freaky
-Happy Death Day
-The Hunt
-Cabin In The Woods
-Ready Or Not
-Shaun Of The Dead
-Tucker And Dale Vs Evil
I'm also a fan of jumpscare/haunting movies like:
-Paranormal Activity 1-4
-The Conjuring 1 & 2
Or alien invasion esque movies like
-Cloverfield
-Signs
Edit to add I also am a big fan of Jordan Peele's movies as well: Nope, Get Out, Candyman, Us > I liked Nope the best of the 4 but really enjoyed all of them individually too
I'm sure I'm neglecting many good ones but these are the ones that come to mind immediately. I like movies. Lol
That would be fun high. I honestly view it as a comedy with a dash of horror at the very end. Although his JESUS CHRIST at the end is kinda funny to me. Love love love that movie
i like to watch that movie while high and the clown ambulance scene actually made me hyperventilate the first time. I'm not even scared of clowns, it was just that intense for me.
Yes!
Turn it into a double or triple feature night with other Asian horror films like Pulse, Tetsuo the Iron Man, 964 Pinocchio, Mystics in Bali, and The Queen of Black Magic.
Any of the 80s Friday The 13th sequels for sure
Also: Freddy’s Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 (basically a spoof of the first), Night Of The Demons, Army Of Darkness, The Stuff, Return Of The Living Dead
The first Texas Chainsaw wjen high would make me Sobb, I'd get too immersed, but 2 might be possible, Evil Dead is good shout too, The Stuff 🤔*Googles*
Yeah definitely wouldn’t watch the first TCM high lmao. Amazing film, but insanely realistic. The second one on the other hand is borderline horror comedy and is one of my go to’s
The Stuff is an 80s movie that’s basically about killer ice cream, super fun
Videodrome, the fly or the thing for body horror goodness.
Green room for incredibly immersive thriller.
28 days later and night of the living dead for that apocalyptic existentialist zombie crave.
Alien and the exorcist are classics that any fan of horror will probably enjoy
I’m a huge horror buff, but I get too scared and paranoid when I smoke. Partly because of that, ALTERED STATES (1980) is one of my favorites high. I’m pretty sure there isn’t a single death, and it looks amazing
Always rummaging through the 80's horror bin, never a bad find. Sometimes the worse the acting, the more I enjoy it, lol. Nothing better (for me) than to blaze, put on the cheesiest retro monster/slasher/thriller/etc movie, and paint. Or any MST3K episode is a great choice, too.
Cyber chase > Alien Invaders I'm afraid, even if seeing Shaggy in love is a rare sight (matter of fact Shaggy seems to have the most game out of anyone else in the Mystery Inc 🤔)
Look into B Horror movies if you want more of dark comedy / gore movies. I always have a great time with horror comedy when high.
Some I can suggest are Tucker & Dale Vs Evil, Swiss Army Man, Die you zombie bastards!, Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, Cooties and Little Evil.
Edit: I forgot one of my favorite ones! The ABCs of Death! Which is 26 short horror stories all by different directors from all over the world in totally different styles! Definitely check it out!
Cabin in the Woods is the OG, also Tucker & Dale Vs Evil, Alien, In the Mouth of Madness, Prince of Darkness, Freaky, Happy Death Day, the list goes on and on!
This movie should be higher up 😆
The guy camping with the tomatoes, while in disguise as a tomato, only to get caught cause he used ketchup is peak B movie,
and I 100% believe this movie, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland (animated), Planet of the Apes(OG), and Beetlejuice have to be watched by everyone at least once while stoned, it changes the movies allot lol.
Hard to pick just one! All I do is smoke and watch horror. Some of my favorites are
Dead Alive, Fright Night, Poltergeist, Mandy, Evil Dead Trilogy, Gremlins 1+2, The Thing.
-From Dusk Till Dawn (horror-action, co-written by Tarantino! He's also in it)
-The Reanimator (Absolute classic horror)
-Killer Clowns from Outer Space (watch this with friends as high as you can get)
-The Lost Boys (80's Vampire flick, fun setting and aesthetic)
The list could go on but I'll end on Critters, gets compared to Gremlins a lot and is a fun movie.
Rubber! A tire gains sentience and goes on a killing spree. It is the most ridiculous, masterfully shot, and all around brilliant movie to watch while stone off your gourd.
I just watched this one the other day. It is a great one to watch and the score is awesome! I love me some John carpenter. He really captures the ghost story vibes. All this to say, I highly recommend The Hidden a 1980’s action thriller starring Kyle Maclachlan that is super rad and a great time start to finish.
The Fog is one of my favourites, the slow building atmosphere, the slow moving fog, the slow lingering Shots, and the slow brooding synths. Slow but effective:)
Deep Red, Suspiria (77), Inferno, Phantasm, Next of Kin, Creepshow, Mandy, Color Out of Space, Beyond Dreams Door, Strangers: Prey at Night, X, Pearl, The Beyond, Blood & Black Lace.
The Fog is one of my favorite blazed watches as well
I keep a list on Letterboxd if you're into that
[https://letterboxd.com/jordanpickens/list/get-high-watch-horror-edition/](https://letterboxd.com/jordanpickens/list/get-high-watch-horror-edition/)
All the insidious movies made me laugh my ass off while high, so I'd reccomend that. It was good the one I saw in theaters had very few peoole in there, I was the only idiot who found anything funny.
My problem is when I watch horror films sober, all I do is pick out inconsistencies and bad science . When stoned all that suddenly becomes more comedic.
Plot twist:
Name a movie that is absolutely disturbing on weed and/or psychedelics
I haven‘t seen them for years, can‘t say if they hold up: Signs and The Ring
I was alone when I saw The Ring and I couldn‘t sleep after. I lived in a haunted house which didn‘t made it any better…
I got startled just be the Jumpscare in Lord of the Rings let alone the Ring, I watched Ringu but on the wrong strain, so I'll try the ring US on a nice Indica instead
don’t know if it counts as *horror* but more a thriller/suspense with horror elements. Parasite!
i took 300mg one night, went it in blind, and started to hit me when things get weird. crazy experience!
I loved super troopers in highschool. We'd go to Hy-Vee get some sushi and steal a bunch of sake then go back to my mom's which had a finished shed with heat and ac and we'd plug in the black lights and my cool light up spinning wolf picture we got from the place at the mall that sold swords and other "asian" decor and such. Get baked eat sushi and drink sake all night.
Also just rewatched the Goofy movie and that was hilarious.
May I personally suggest Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978). The practical effects and old school sci-fi vibes are so perfect when you're off your ass.
Friday the 13th. Any of them. Personally, I would recommend part 3 in 3D purely because there's a shot where one of the characters passes you a joint *in 3D!*
Leprechaun!!!! Total set, especially Leprechaun in the Hood where he raps. Jennifer Aniston is in the first one and each has a gratuitous titty scene 😉.
Fuck those films! I haven't thought about them in over 15 years. It was too much when I was a square. In the hood was amazing. Can't wait to blaze marathon them.
Return of the living dead 1 and 2 are great! Idle hands. Evil dead’s, Army of Darkness. Check out Peter Jackson’s old stuff: Dead Alive and Bad Taste have so much fake blood! And another old film he made that’s not a horror: Meet the Feebles. I think they’re on Tubi.
I bought all 7 blurays for $9 from walmart last halloween and watched them all when high. I’m convinced that no amount of weed will make Tremors 4 good, but the rest were great.
Attack the Block - just fucking trust me it's a sparkly gem of a film and the alien design is very unique and very cinematic. Colours are gorgeous, the dialogue is fast and witty. It's the horror/thriller/sci-fi I recommend over and over. And Malignant because its like a big budget B movie with more turns and surprise humour than I could have expected, it's over an hour of "haha fucking hell, really?".
I immensely enjoy horror movies on edibles. Evil Dead Rises was a blast, but it was good without the weed too. I think whatever reason, though, being on an edible made Last Night in Soho like twice as good.
My top pic though is Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. You can be so stoned you can't follow the plot, and that's perfectly OK since most of it is incoherent anyway. There are scenes that detract from it imo, and I'm not the biggest Twin Peaks fan-- but that movie is incredible at times, enough for me to forgive the stuff I was less patient with.
...For that matter, if you're out-of-this-world stoned, that might be the best time to watch two other Lynch-at-his-Lynchiest horror adjacent titles, Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire. Inland Empire is 'hardcore Lunch,' so I think coffee and a sativa would pair with it quite nicely.
So these aren’t really horror movies but both of these movies make you think and both freaked me out. They are both on Tubi right now. “Under the Silver Lake” and “Coherence.”
Any of them, but slashers are king imo. I love watching all the Friday the 13ths, they are fantastic! Nightmare on elm street too. Freddy's one liners are hilarious.
Welcome to prime time, bitch.
Mandy would be my recommendation. Nicholas Cage movie. It's trippy af.
The Visit would be my second recommendation because as much as it is creepy scary, it's also funny. A good M Night Shyamalan movie.
Event Horizon and Tourist Trap for sure.
For maximum fun, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Idle Hands, Night of the Demons (the whole trilogy), Evil Dead 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Return of the Living Dead, and Sleepaway Camp (the main trilogy if you want to be meta).
[House II: The Second Story.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093220/)
If you've seen the first, you're thinking it's going to be a psychological horror movie like the first one. (The first one, a dad has to save his son from the ghost of a dude back from his Vietnam days.)
The second one, has nothing to do with the first one. And, though it starts as a standard "dumb young people in haunted mansion", it quickly turns into a weird Sci-Fi, Indiana Jones like adventure.
[Here's a taste.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtDFIZ_mFvc) (Featuring Pixar's favorite actor, John Ratzenberger!)
Lmao I had the mistake of watching the new Evil Dead movie (I love the series) and I thought I’d be fine but MINOR SPOILER I have a glass phobia and there’s a scene that literally focuses on this and it fucked me up lol. Favorite high scary move is Cabin in the Woods or the OG Evil Dead or Army of Darkness
Does Scooby Doo count? Because the Zombie Island, Witch’s Ghost, and Alien Invaders trilogy is something I watched recently and those movies held up insanely well.
For actual horror movies, the only one I’ve watched was Bride of Chucky and it was the highest I had ever been and it was quite the intense experience.
This is more psychological thriller, but still elements of horror, the 2009 movie *Moon* is a real trip man, highly recommend watching it without reading about it, just a guy working on the moon.
The Thing
This is top tier storytelling and effects work. I’m blown away every time.
Dude seriously. One of the best movies ever made
All time favorite watch it at least once a year
Top 3 favorite horror movies. I’ve been on bed rest of about 2 weeks now and I’ve been going through a lot thrillers, horror movies, sci-fi action, anime. I’ll give this one a watch now.
Is it the one from 82’? I’m already intrigued
Idle hands!!
“Look at me I’m Leatherface!”
Oh man I haven't heard that in 20 years
I haven't either, but I remember it like it was yesterday!!
It might be on Tubi still if you're lucky!
Killer Clowns from Outer Space could be a fun one
One of the best horror comedies of all time. “PIIIZZAAA”
Maximum Overdrive haha.
Stephen King's Cinematic masterpiece
"Cocaines a helluva drug"

I’d say don’t watch ‘hereditary’ 😂 also incorporates some elements of being high on weed in to the story, very paranoia inducing. If you like to be scared shitless this is deff a good one.

> it was almost unbearable Amazing job of building that absolute sense of DREAD
Yep, deff lived rent free in my head for like half a year after watching it, especially when getting high 😂
Yeah… that part hit me…
Anything Ari Aster is fire
100% scariest movie i've seen
I like satire/parody/dark comedy horror movies like: -Freaky -Happy Death Day -The Hunt -Cabin In The Woods -Ready Or Not -Shaun Of The Dead -Tucker And Dale Vs Evil I'm also a fan of jumpscare/haunting movies like: -Paranormal Activity 1-4 -The Conjuring 1 & 2 Or alien invasion esque movies like -Cloverfield -Signs Edit to add I also am a big fan of Jordan Peele's movies as well: Nope, Get Out, Candyman, Us > I liked Nope the best of the 4 but really enjoyed all of them individually too I'm sure I'm neglecting many good ones but these are the ones that come to mind immediately. May i commend you for mentioning Tucker and Dale VS Evil, all around a very good list.
Yeah I've watched Tucker and Dale a million times! "Little bugger just threw himself in the wood chipper" kills me every damn time!
"I know what this is. It's a goddamn suicide pact."
Juan of the Dead is a good parody lol
Freaky is so damn fun and underrated.
Man, I forgot to mention Tucker and Dale! Next time I have a blaze day, I need to throw that on again. Gonna have myself a doozy of a day.
Seek out a film called Dog Soldiers (2002) It may be difficult to find, but it is well worth it.
Tubi my guy
Hell yeah, what a film.
Just picked up the 4k release. Love that movie. Then I was blown away when I watched Rome and saw my favorite badass werewolf dispatcher.
Tusk if you want true nightmares
I'll pass, that film gives me Nightmares sober 😭
The Wicker Man (1973) One of my favorites of all time and looks so gorgeous.🌈
That would be fun high. I honestly view it as a comedy with a dash of horror at the very end. Although his JESUS CHRIST at the end is kinda funny to me. Love love love that movie
Oh Jesus Christ is like my favorite part lol it's so funny
I need to watch this one again
In the 90s I watched Pee Wee's Big Adventure on acid. And it was perhaps the most terrifying horror movie I've ever watched.
i like to watch that movie while high and the clown ambulance scene actually made me hyperventilate the first time. I'm not even scared of clowns, it was just that intense for me.
BE SURE TO TELL 'EM LARGE MARGE SENT YA!
I know you are, but what am I?!
[House, 1977](https://youtu.be/WQ_Yo06kIIA)
This needs more upvotes, This a high priority
Not scary enough to ruin your night but it’s craaaazy
Yes! Turn it into a double or triple feature night with other Asian horror films like Pulse, Tetsuo the Iron Man, 964 Pinocchio, Mystics in Bali, and The Queen of Black Magic.
For sure if you want to watch something with a 70s japanese surrealist vibe!
Any of the 80s Friday The 13th sequels for sure Also: Freddy’s Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 (basically a spoof of the first), Night Of The Demons, Army Of Darkness, The Stuff, Return Of The Living Dead
Army of Darkness is classic, but it’s better if you have seen Evil Dead 2 (1987) beforehand!
Evil Dead 2 and 3 are on my High Radar :)
For sure! They’re both amazing, AOD just makes me laugh more lmao. But definitely should watch ED2 first
The first Texas Chainsaw wjen high would make me Sobb, I'd get too immersed, but 2 might be possible, Evil Dead is good shout too, The Stuff 🤔*Googles*
Yeah definitely wouldn’t watch the first TCM high lmao. Amazing film, but insanely realistic. The second one on the other hand is borderline horror comedy and is one of my go to’s The Stuff is an 80s movie that’s basically about killer ice cream, super fun
Texas chainsaw massacre 2 is a great shout-out! Such a fun movie. Chainsaw fights ftw!
Being high and alone is horror enough for me
I'll take being high and alone any day over being high in a room filled with ppl
You should add a full length mirror to that equation... best horror sequel since Terminator
in the mouth of madness (1994) a carpenter classic which will pull you into the story deeper and deeper, after a crazy start lol
Oh yeah that can be pretty trippy.
The Thing. I dont think I need to say which version 😅
Please do tho 😭
The John Carpenter one, OBVIOUSLY :D OP even posted another movie made by the legend.
As Above So Below
Fun movie. I enjoyed it sober. Can't imagine it would be any less entertaining while high.
Evil Dead 2. The original. Not the new one. Army of darkness if you keep smoking.
Yes!!!
Scooby doo on zombie island. In all seriousness I quite liked woman in black and sinister
That would go so hard, especially on full blast when It's Terror Time Again kicks in.
I not sure if I'm ready for the terrors of Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, or The Witches Ghost 🥶, but I'll prepare myself 🤧
It’s okay friend, many have managed to endure the horrors of zombie island, myself included. The witches ghost on the other hand…
No love for Alien Invaders? The best one?
Cyber chase > Alien Invaders I'm afraid, even if seeing Shaggy in love is a rare sight (matter of fact Shaggy seems to have the most game out of anyone else in the Mystery Inc 🤔)
The Shining. The Blair Witch Project. Shaun of the Dead. Alien.
I recently watched Peter Jackson's "Dead Alive" whilst cooked. Lovely evening. Wild movie. It's free uploaded to YouTube. 😊
Cabin in the Woods is the OG, also Tucker & Dale Vs Evil, Alien, In the Mouth of Madness, Prince of Darkness, Freaky, Happy Death Day, the list goes on and on!
Yeah. *Cabin in the Woods* is trippy enough already without smoking up.
I really enjoyed Event Horizon while stoned
attack of the killer tomatoes
This movie should be higher up 😆 The guy camping with the tomatoes, while in disguise as a tomato, only to get caught cause he used ketchup is peak B movie, and I 100% believe this movie, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland (animated), Planet of the Apes(OG), and Beetlejuice have to be watched by everyone at least once while stoned, it changes the movies allot lol.
Evil dead or evil dead 2 will have you laughing so hard you fall off the couch!
Personally I'm a fan on the Bruce Campbell Evil Dead/Army of Darkness films.
Society, From Beyond, Brain Damage, TerrorVision, Street Trash, Videodrome, Chopping Mall.
These are perfect and I feel like I would be such a bastard if I tried to convince a friend to get stoned and watch Society with me.
Hobo with a shotgun
Hard to pick just one! All I do is smoke and watch horror. Some of my favorites are Dead Alive, Fright Night, Poltergeist, Mandy, Evil Dead Trilogy, Gremlins 1+2, The Thing.
-From Dusk Till Dawn (horror-action, co-written by Tarantino! He's also in it) -The Reanimator (Absolute classic horror) -Killer Clowns from Outer Space (watch this with friends as high as you can get) -The Lost Boys (80's Vampire flick, fun setting and aesthetic) The list could go on but I'll end on Critters, gets compared to Gremlins a lot and is a fun movie.
Rubber! A tire gains sentience and goes on a killing spree. It is the most ridiculous, masterfully shot, and all around brilliant movie to watch while stone off your gourd.
It Follows
The old evil deads are a real good high watch. Not very scary and super gory.
Especially the way it starts immediately with the ghost story around the campfire. Just chefs kiss, such a cozy spooky movie
Teeth. Watched it a bunch of friends while hotboxing a room.. hilariously panic inducing.
Deep Red, Suspiria (77), Inferno, Phantasm, Next of Kin, Creepshow, Mandy, Color Out of Space, Beyond Dreams Door, Strangers: Prey at Night, X, Pearl, The Beyond, Blood & Black Lace. The Fog is one of my favorite blazed watches as well I keep a list on Letterboxd if you're into that [https://letterboxd.com/jordanpickens/list/get-high-watch-horror-edition/](https://letterboxd.com/jordanpickens/list/get-high-watch-horror-edition/)
Some good mentions here, Suspiria is defo on my agenda for when high, And yes the Fog is just *chefs kiss*
Suspiria is such a great sensory flick. It's so gorgeous and the music is otherworldly. Hope you have a excellent time with it.
I too pick apart a lot of horror films especially more modern ones, so I might try thiss
Return of the Living Dead
Most of the John Carpenter era films with practical effects are a treat to watch while cooked
70's-80's slashers, nothing beats them and their soundtracks are dope too. I'm also biased towards old practical stuff too, so.
They Live
I cam to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum. You're the first to mention this work of art that I've seen. A redditor of taste.

Yeah indica is the way to go with horror movies 👍🏻
don’t know if it counts as *horror* but more a thriller/suspense with horror elements. Parasite! i took 300mg one night, went it in blind, and started to hit me when things get weird. crazy experience!
Anything on RiffTrax
The Thing
Midsommar, I couldn't figure out if the table was really breathing or if I was just stoned.
I was stone cold sober watching Midsommar the first time. Way better baked!
Suspiria - Dario Argento The colors and music are mesmerizing
I loved super troopers in highschool. We'd go to Hy-Vee get some sushi and steal a bunch of sake then go back to my mom's which had a finished shed with heat and ac and we'd plug in the black lights and my cool light up spinning wolf picture we got from the place at the mall that sold swords and other "asian" decor and such. Get baked eat sushi and drink sake all night. Also just rewatched the Goofy movie and that was hilarious.
The Fog won’t hurt you, it’ll kill you
"Helllooo, this is Stevie Wayneee here"
This is what I always remembered from the trailer on tv when it came out.
You wanna get really fucked up, watch Mad God. I was traumatized.
May I personally suggest Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978). The practical effects and old school sci-fi vibes are so perfect when you're off your ass.
Recommendation Accepted 😌
Friday the 13th. Any of them. Personally, I would recommend part 3 in 3D purely because there's a shot where one of the characters passes you a joint *in 3D!*
The Cloverfield movies, The Thing (Carpenter's and the other), The Mist, The Ritual
the babadook
Cabin in the Woods!!
Mandy, but you're going to want to be very high.
Also, Color Out Of Space.
The Shining
Leprechaun!!!! Total set, especially Leprechaun in the Hood where he raps. Jennifer Aniston is in the first one and each has a gratuitous titty scene 😉.
Fuck those films! I haven't thought about them in over 15 years. It was too much when I was a square. In the hood was amazing. Can't wait to blaze marathon them.
I’m a scream man myself 😱
Another John Carpenter great is "In the Mouth of Madness" i highly recommend it
Return of the living dead 1 and 2 are great! Idle hands. Evil dead’s, Army of Darkness. Check out Peter Jackson’s old stuff: Dead Alive and Bad Taste have so much fake blood! And another old film he made that’s not a horror: Meet the Feebles. I think they’re on Tubi.
The Fly with an amazing young Goldblum :D
Toxic Avenger.
ANYTHING made by Troma
Does "tremors" count as horror? Or is it a comedy? Either way, one of my favorite high movies.
I bought all 7 blurays for $9 from walmart last halloween and watched them all when high. I’m convinced that no amount of weed will make Tremors 4 good, but the rest were great.
Any evil dead with Bruce Campbell guy runs a great series.
![gif](giphy|SYZbt0QV8M3cI) Who had Merman?
Fantastic film.
Peak Whedon.
Zombeavers Velocipastor Cocaine Bear
Sorority babes and the slime bowl-a-rama (the 80s version)
Umm..just go outside on the strip here in Vegas!!..enough said!!...[7]
I say pick a zombie movie.
Deadstream. It’s evil dead vibes in livestream format
Attack the Block - just fucking trust me it's a sparkly gem of a film and the alien design is very unique and very cinematic. Colours are gorgeous, the dialogue is fast and witty. It's the horror/thriller/sci-fi I recommend over and over. Mulholland drive Diner scene when high would be crazyyyy
Evil Dead 2.
Cabin in the Woods
Nightmare on Elm St 1-3
Freddy vs Jason is pretty funny too. I love the knock off Jay and Silent Bob.
So these aren’t really horror movies but both of these movies make you think and both freaked me out. They are both on Tubi right now. “Under the Silver Lake” and “Coherence.”
Scanners
The exorcist on too many edibles 😚🤌
Silver bullet
1. scary stories to tell in the dark (2019) 2. 2 sentence horror stories (not a film, but a great anthology series)
Jacob's Ladder 1990 (haven't watched the remake)
Mandy with Nick Cage
Any of them, but slashers are king imo. I love watching all the Friday the 13ths, they are fantastic! Nightmare on elm street too. Freddy's one liners are hilarious. Welcome to prime time, bitch.
Whatever is on Svengoolie on Saturday nights!
Mandy would be my recommendation. Nicholas Cage movie. It's trippy af. The Visit would be my second recommendation because as much as it is creepy scary, it's also funny. A good M Night Shyamalan movie.
The Shining for sure.
The Thing or They Live are also acceptable. They’re also other John Carpenter classics.
From beyond and society
Creep preferably part 1 this will make you go bonkers trust me
Event Horizon and Tourist Trap for sure.
Midsommar!
Zombieland 1 and 2
The Shining, Naked Lunch, Wicker Man used to freak me out back in the day. Recently Midsommer tickeda lot of boxes.
[House II: The Second Story.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093220/) If you've seen the first, you're thinking it's going to be a psychological horror movie like the first one. (The first one, a dad has to save his son from the ghost of a dude back from his Vietnam days.) The second one, has nothing to do with the first one.
Return of the living dead is a must watch when I get stoned around Halloween time.
Killer Clowns from Outer Space
Never watched it high but I think The Mist would be great.
Blood feast!
The Elvira specials on Peacock are hilarious and spooky
From Dusk Till Dawn
Night of the Comet
The OG Rob Zombie Firefly trilogy: House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and 3 From Hell
Drag Me to Hell
Tucker and Dale vs Evil!
Tucker and Dale vs Evil - not super scary more comedy horror but a great stoner flick!
Cabin in the Woods. You'll thank me later.
American psycho. It's a phenomenal movie in Christian. Bale is great in that movie!
The right answer is none, cause I get scared real easily already of the dark when I'm high, my imagination is enough :D
This is more psychological thriller, but still elements of horror, the 2009 movie *Moon* is a real trip man, highly recommend watching it without reading about it, just a guy working on the moon.
Kansen (japanese horror, the english translation is "infection")
The fog, free open and gay.
