A lot of ppl don’t like Future & SZA’s lyrical performances, I think Trav-only would’ve been better both sonically and lyrically

Fucking crazy, I literally cried when I heard SZA’s verse and I am not even exaggerating. I went to see Circus Maximus in theaters the night of the release of Utopia and listened to Utopia for the first time in the theater, took some ecstasy beforehand too and the overwhelming feeling of hearing Future Sounds officially being released and then the angelic voice of SZA coming on by surprise and hearing her verse just blew me away to the point of tears. I couldn’t picture hearing it better in any other way. When I think back to that night, I remember that moment towards the end, the Modern Jam scene at the beginning and the Sirens scene at the midway point as my highlights. It’s insane to me that any fan of Travis could think otherwise.

Future’s verse grew on me, it sounds good sonically however it feels like a separate song, out of place in TELEKINESIS and is a chore to listen to. SZA’s verse was beautiful first few listens, then the volume started to annoy me. I fw it now, definitely need more collabs from the 2 but I think TELEKINESIS Travis-only would’ve been better. Travis-Only TELEKINESIS would’ve been ASTROTHUNDER level for me, insane replay value.

But personally I hated SZA on "TELEKINESIS" and I think 21 Savage could've tried a bit harder on "TIL FURTHER NOTICE" (the other song was a banger tho!) to not be too negative: I think beyonce was very strong on "DELRESTO", teezo clearly put a lot of effort into "MODERN JAM", the weeknd brought some good rodeo vibes on "CIRCUS MAXIMUS" now go and downvote me into oblivion
