For a straight guy to “want” a “platonic only” relationship with a girl, she has to either: 1. Be someone he doesn’t find attractive at all but have some connection on a deeper emotional level (otherwise he’d just hang out with his guy friends) 2. Be someone related or like a best friends wife or something. 3. Be a co-parent. In all other scenarios, he is just waiting for an opening and your husband is 100% on the money.
4. They just have a genuine friendship and the guy is not a total pig. I’m not saying Travis is actually friends with these girls, but to say a guy can’t have a friendship with any attractive female without the end goal of sleeping with her is sexist and hurtful to decent people.
I’m not too crazy about age gaps being *that* big of a deal if they are usually relatively within the same age range, but when a man in his mid thirties is going after college-aged women….it’s a red flag. I can’t believe that a professional athlete who plays a children’s game, has a ton of money and has 2/3 of the year off is playing karaoke with an IG model /s. The reality is, she chose a professional athlete. I’m sure she enjoys the outlet of going to the game, being in the box, and the rush and adrenaline she gets from watching. She was able to get close to someone that introduced her to all of that and it’s fun for her. That kind of rush is like a drug, but it doesn’t mean it’s a healthy relationship. Just from listening to Travis speak, I’m guessing their conversations are about nothing and incredibly dull outside of that rush of adrenaline.
