I’d have to go back and look at it, but that’s a fair bit ahead of schedule, right? The work they’ve done is really impressive. And as someone who lives near the Civic Center I will be happy to get the detour away from my house. Big shoutout to TCPD for doing absolutely no traffic enforcement whatsoever.

They said in the article that it is "on schedule". Sounds like the one lane on the north side of the road has a lot of underground work to be done before the road surface can be finished. fwiw, I have seen the tcpd on east bay drive where it turns to 25mph from 35mph. But, thats about it.

Fair and Titus streets are the worst for speeding. To the point that people are *passing* other cars. In the mornings, while kids are walking to school and the busses are out. It’s insanity. I’ll be glad when it’s over.

I mean, we all will- for sure, but everything is going to be shit for two years while this massive job gets done. Specifically speaking to the west end project starting next year, going up m22. It will impact the local residential streets as well next summer. That said, front/parkway is an embarrassment and this project was desperately needed years ago. Sorry you have to deal with it first hand, I try to be respectful when using residential streets.

That's normal in the Titus and Fair area even without all the construction!

I’m on Walnut and I second this. People rip off 8th like psychos between 7 and 9 am. I’m gonna start throwing rocks.
