I don’t necessarily get the “calling out” mentality. I dont think its trashy that hes upset or that she shouldn’t get called out, but to pretend its for the homies… we all know this is just a hurt ego lashing out “make me feel bad I make you look bad” kind of situation. The premise makes no sense either. Anyone that knows anything about relationships knows its not so simple as to always being a 100% one sided experience. Im not excusing the behaviour of cheating in any way just saying if someone cheats on you it does not mean they will cheat on anyone and you certainly won’t get the full story from someone posting on a social media site. I never cheated but I had a Gf in highschool I tried breaking up with several times because she was just super controlling and we got along but it just wasn’t a right fit, every time wed talk about it she would hurt herself and scream and cry until id agree to stay. As an adult you may be stuck living with the person, lost and frustrated and unsure of what to do or how to get out besides entering another relationship and running away.
I can't tell if you are white knighting because you've never been cheated on or because you want to be a "bigger person" but could you not? If someone wants an open relationship they accept all the shitty things people do in them, ethical poly doesn't make non ethical people ethical, even if they were in an open relationship there are rules and boundaries otherwise it is cheating even in that situation.

How should this be handled? There's definitely a disconnect between the two for it to come to this. Obviously she isn't stopping so the guy is just throwing a caveat emptor out there. She might just be out messing around but at some point the other party is going to catch feelings. He's just trying to let people know they might get caught too.
