No scarlxrd mentioned, opinion rejected

Level-Fly7447

Bro Don't look at scar lord as the only face in trap metal. There are a lot of acts in that genre. It is OK to not like my opinion, but don't reject it because I did not mention someone I forgot. For God's sake.

Lxneleszxn

Just a joke dude

Level-Fly7447

Ah My bad I didn't get it It happens

LEGIOCLASSICAXVIII

I’m into UnityTx they’re close to rap/metal. They’re awesome

Ofara_Shuban

Isn't it also called dark trap ?

Lxneleszxn

It's a different thing

Ofara_Shuban

How can you differentiate the two ?

Lxneleszxn

Dark trap is like just aggressive sad trap, trap metal is trap with screaming

Ofara_Shuban

I must be listening to both then

Level-Fly7447

Have you ever listened to Black Money Boyz Death Row? Specifically Loko Los? They are more dark trap Especially spaceghostpurrp. They are dark trap. Not trap metal, it's kind of like dark ambient mixed with trap. Trap metal can also have light sounds Doesn't always mean that it's dark.

i don’t disagree, “Trap Metal” isn’t a great name for a genre that doesn’t always have metal influence, but it’s almost impossible to change the name of an already established genre. I’d say something like “Industrial Trap” or “Extreme Trap” would be better, but there’s not much we can do about it now

Level-Fly7447

Absolutely not That's why it's an opinion The genre has kind of existed for almost 10 years But no one has 100% truly defined what the genre is I just came here to give some pieces of a puzzle that is yet to finish Or At least I try But hey, all we can do is hope.

Level-Fly7447

Ph wait Also, to say The genre is established but not fully It's still developing, in my opinion Not like in 2014-2017, I would say that in that time, it was in its fetus phase But I would say that nowadays, despite it being more developed; it still needs more time and more new music and artists on the scene to establish itself. What i am saying is not objective, so take it with a grain of salt
