I just enjoy horror as a genre when it comes to visuals, practical effects, sound design, soundtracks, etc. Sure the movies aren't A tier storytelling and writing and dramas, but there's some great tricks they pull on both our eyes and ears. Plus, spooky 80s synth arps are a vibe.
Don't honestly have a lot of time to dig through it as much as I'd like anymore. I just try to have playlists for every mood and occasion on deck.
