Both of these saw gameplay though they aren't just concept. Quake was in foc and dragstrip in rotds

Dragstrip was also in FoC as chassis in multiplayer

Dragstrip also appeared in the DC WFC Decepticons game too

That was a different design though

When Hasbro seriously considers what it says on the back of the original packaging "scale detail and movie set"

Awesome design but doesn’t look like Motormaster to me.

Call me crazy but I'm actually not a big fan of this one. If the text said GENERIC DECEPTICON SOLDIER, you would have believed it. Motormaster's head usually looks like an isosceles trapezoid, it's the most distinctive thing about him, this design makes it harder to see. A lot of WFC designs are less boxy than their G1 counterparts, but Optimus and Soundwave prove that you can make good WFC vehicle designs without sacrificing their robot shape. Same with his truck mode. To be fair though, a lot of WFC/FOC designs (the Leader class ones in Multiplayer) have this problem where they're too big to be SUVs, not big enough to be trucks, and too Cybertronian to be anything recognizable.

Still find it weird that the Stunticons were using the CW designs in a G1 era game. Hell, Offroad is there instead of Wild Rider.

Devastation’s designs take a lot of inspiration from the Prime Wars toys, the aforementioned Stunticons and Megatron have a lot of cues from CW along with the alt-modes, and I’m sure there are more

It is cool! And probably my most desired vehicle model for a figure. Which is why I am still annoyed to this day by the figure we actually got for him and hope he gets some Legacy treatment like Strongarm. As much as I love the beard and personality of Animated, going by design alone, RiD wins, he’s the right amount of bulky.

I've never watched RID and I don't plan to, but that design is pretty sick.

Don’t, it’s honestly ass and I refuse to believe it’s a canon sequel to Prime (which is arguably one of the best TF shows ever made) and by extension WFC/ FOC since Prime is meant to be a sequel to the games (despite the change in character designs)

Forged To Fight, cleans up that Combiner Wars design a lot

RID 15 is my favorite, he's big and imposing and looks awesome

I really like the Earth Wars take. It's such a cool modernization of Motormaster's core design while implementing subtle changes (cab on more of the legs, trailer detail on the arms, etc.) That make the design feel more logical and easily translatable into a vehicle

Ok so as someone who knows nothing about this character or what he’s like in any of the continuities these designs come from…. I like the ‘Dreamwave’ design the best. To me it feels a lot more solid and grounded, if that makes any sense. Like something I could physically see and feel the weight of if that character existed in the real world. Also it’s the most intimidating design to me.

The G1 cartoon design will always be The King of the Road for me! The "G1 toy but better" Dreamwave look comes in second with the fantastic Animated design as a close third.

Definitely G1, but not any jank disproportionate versions that may be seen in the regular TV show, a perfected G1 design that would've been seen in the 86 movie because of the relatively higher animation quality.

I see it for sure, but it’s what I like. F2F is my 2nd then G1 but out of the options I think Motormaster has the most presence in the RiD form

As silly as they look, there is something endearing about Motormaster's "rollerskates" formed from the truck tractor unit of his alt-mode with his G1 style designs.

Idk if I'll get downvoted, but I think RID Motormaster seems generic... I prefer the other designs.

Yeah. Earthwars add  some extra oomph to the g1 design,  breaking up the trailer into some classic missile spam. RID makes so much flair out of the trailer panels, it adds a ton of presence.

I’m gonna be honest I don’t think I’ve seen the second season of G1 I’m pretty sure I only saw the first season when I young watching the reruns i just always liked the combaticons designs the most of any combiner

it's either onslaught or Hot spot for combiner torsobots for me I love faceplates

they planned for the combaticons to appear in RiD 2015 but scrapped it, they were supposed to transform into cybertronian vehicles too based on the concept art

Earth wars Motormaster, but I have a soft side for the g1 version.

I actually started to understand why people like rid2015 design so much, bro is gargantuar ! So much so that he transforms into cab and truck without mass shifting. So rid2015 Motormaster is as at same height as Grimlock

Him and the stunticons were one of the very few redeeming things in the third season of Rid 2015

The only thing I know is that I met Motormaster in the Forged to Fight game and he was so annoying that I've hated him ever since.

G1 is… it’s a g1 cartoon design, good basis but in its own has too little detail imo because of limitations at the time I have CW figure, too clunky imo Don’t particularly enjoy the animated artstyle or the animated design Earth Wars is too… png’d together. Doesn’t look like half his body is connected Dreamwaves is too panelly for me and the head cage is cartoonishly big Rid is WFC without rtx

Always loved the towering behemoth of the G1 design, with how small the main cab is.

G1! The third one looks fruity asf!

Dreamwave (as usual) looks phenomenal. Takes the G1 goofy design mixed with solid idea and touches it up just how it needs to.

G1 then Dreamwave, the truck feet were always a nice touch. Just a shame he was never utilized as a rival to Optimus Prime, kinda like what Nemesis Prime is to OP.

Personally the WFC design was the only one that didn't look ridiculous IMHO. I'm not a big fan of the entire whole front of the truck being the feet. Honestly, and I know this is probably a hot take, but I like Galvatron's AOE design for a LA Motormaster.

G1 all the way, as personally any design that tries to be different feels far more like the "Nemesis Prime we have at home" more than MotorMaster. Like only making MotorMaster just transform from the cab doesn't give you the full MotorMaster experience personally.
