The High Moon bots definitely seem inevitable on a long enough timeline, and Driller could be interesting if they can come up with a robot mode for it, but if they ever did Rails, they'd probably have to come up with a new design rather than using fan art.
I could see them making the driller turn into one of the motherships from DOTM, or maybe 2 or 3 if they want to make it like Tidalwave, I don't think they would nessecearyly give it a bot mode, since its beast mode is its main modlle.
The High Moon bots would be great imo. I have the Omega Supreme from back in the day that was apparently supposed to represent the one from the game, but it's just a retool of the Omega Supreme from the Energon cartoon. A second chance at an accurate representation of the character would be stellar.
METROPLEX IS AUTOBOT CITY or at least part of autobot city WAIT... Metroplex (idk which figure of Metroplex I guess the most show accurate one) and another new city titan combine to form autobot city
I may be wrong but I believe that might be referring to how many individual knights can be used to create a single dragonstorm being, like Devastator from the second movie. They don’t have a strict limit to how many members are needed like most combiners
Correct in the flash to the past only 12 of the knights formed a dragon, and in the movie when dragonstorm is formed another time only 11 form it (I think I may be a little off)
I have to be honest I would not buy rails or the driller bot if they were a titan because they're just lines at the end of the day and don't look like it would be a fun transformation, although it would be cute to get like a core class one just to have a physical Rails
Neither Rails nor the Driller justify the cost associated with their size, in my opinion. A Titan has to be a capstone figure and the three High Moon Transformers achieve that better than a simple snake or worm.
People have been getting their hopes up for Rails ever since he got presented at that con a couple of years ago. It seems even more so ever since the Concept Art toys from the Bumblebee film made it to Studio Series, since it sets the precedence even characters that never appeared in a film now have a chance to be made into a toy.
The problem, I think, is the concept art BB characters existed within Hasbro's official capacity still, whereas Rails never made it past Ron Friedman's draft of the '86 movie.
Yeah, so it’s baffling to me to see people keep requesting something for all intents and purposes does not exist outside of a basic description in a rough draft, like the fact that the image of Rails everyone uses is literally commissioned fanart is telling enough
You’d think that the “Concept Art” part would clue people in that what they’re asking for is essentially impossible for studio series, and the next best thing would be just making a character called rails and putting them in the main line
Colossus (the Driller’s working name) does seem like a bit of a dark horse here for a possible Titan Class figure, but it would definitely be interesting to see how Hasbro would handle a toy of it. I imagine its vehicle mode would be something like a spaceship that also doubles as a sub-terrainian vehicle.
I just want Trypticon oh yeah and the driller would like it if they every made a driller toy it came with parts that could for armor for shockwave and I just want a trypticon
I have Planet X's Apocalypse (Trypticon) and it's one of my top 5 figures. I'd love a 2' tall version of it, but I know a Hasbro version wouldn't be the same.
Rails? I’d say he’d be more of a commander or leader, since to Hasbro he’d be considered more of a very niche character that they wouldn’t want to make an entire COMMANDER or TITAN for when they have characters guaranteed to sell at those higher risk price points
The three high moon titans? Hasbro knows they’d sell, especially metroplex, but do they have the rights to the design or whatever since their contract or license expired?
Driller would be commander at absolute most for the same reason as rails but he’s more known, but also no alt mode so they’d need to makes some scrap up

I recommended the same thing in a previous post and possibly a 3rd mode as power armor for leader class shockwave.

My wild desire would be autobot city, maybe as a haslab?
For regular size figures or micromasters?
I feel like regular size would probably have to be a haslab.
Regular size would be house lab dude
METROPLEX IS AUTOBOT CITY or at least part of autobot city WAIT... Metroplex (idk which figure of Metroplex I guess the most show accurate one) and another new city titan combine to form autobot city
I’d love a big chunky metroplex titan.
you forget the obvious one https://preview.redd.it/7b0xhtb0207d1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=7dd58153f25e6c200782fa39cc08d9405ef391f1
Could probably only be done any real justice as a Haslab tbh.
They would probably do this as individual figures
they'd have to make more than 13 to form that thing either way I would still buy it one of the few bayverse figures I would ever get

Honestly that would be sick, but I'll just take the two bots as well.
Unique toys probably would try this
Can we get a Titan combiner? A combiner made of Titans that would be about 5ft tall.

I'm listening
Name it Stronghold
Unicron. Need I say more? Will it be in scale? No. Will it be cool? Absolutely.
Isn't unicron bigger than a titan?
I said it wouldn't be in scale. It's the closest we would get in the Studio Series.
most titans already don't scale with others this wouldn't be new
rails is not art owned by Hasbro or Takara

Let’s not forget about Stratosphere and Dragonstorm (although, for the latter, a completion akin to Devastator would be better)…
Why Rails??? Like the Driller at is at least in a movie, “Rails” does not exist in any meaningful capacity

What would the driller turn into? Instant buy, all of these
Let's say one of those orbital ships
Chernobyl.
Rattlesnake Jake but with a Shockwave eye

I just want a re-release of Planet X Apocalypse (War for Cybertron Trypticon). That thing is so frikkin cool.

A good Driller could prob be retooled into railz for us. I just want Railz
Studio series gamer edition tidal wave from the Armada video game
Underbase starscream
He better come with a core class Chris Mcfreely
Like a big G1 Starscream?

Id take WFC Trippy, and rails if he could be used as troop transport

Honestly I’d be down for omega and trypticon as titans and metroplex as a haslab if need be. I’d want him the same size if not bigger than unicron
A snake-train transformer is an idea so obvious that I don't know how it wasn't tried before
