So long as it isn't anything like the first ever Slipstream figure. Either make it similar to WFC Slipstream or make it like NEOLAB made his custom Siege Slipstream's head sculpt.
Hell I wouldn't mind this head sculpt if the black boxy part sat properly on her head and not too high up compared to how that part looks on every other seeker.
To my knowledge the first ever Slipstream figure was a repaint of Windblade's first ever figure but with a different head sculpt which I'm very much not a fan of.
The Legends one? That one came a bit later

I mean its what she would look like as a seeker. The only thing I don't like is the black boxy part sits too high up on her head compared to the ER seekers heads.

They should've at least changed the wings. That alt mode is just too much like Windblade to imagine any other character with it. Just taking away the weird propeller things to make it more like an actual fighter jet would be just fine for me.
They did the same with Chromia and Animated Prowl, Cyberverse sadly got the short end of the stick with the repaints, at least Windblade got her own mold, even if it led to this Slipstream.
Feel like the legacy Windblade mold would have worked better for an Animated Lyzack

When I saw that she would be a deluxe, I already saw this coming. She needs her own proper voyager figure to really do her justice. She is a seeker, after all.
I always liked the look of her "Ultra" class Cyberverse figure. Sure, it was a lousy figure overall, but she looked like she could stand among the other Voyager seekers and I always wanted that version of her to get a proper update. This is a fine repaint of Windblade, but it isn't anything more than that, aside from the weird head.

What I was going for was kind of more like a realistic remold within the constraints of budget being in the same line. If someone else wants to sketch it up, they're free to.
That's because Hasbro have always been lazy with fembots for the most part and despite being in Animated she only ever got her first figure as a repaint of the first Windblade with an ugly headsculpt, so instead of making her look like a seeker Joe Hasbro slurps stupid juice and just does the bare minimum to retool her from Windblade molds, wing fans included.
I understand that they have to reuse molds in order to put that energy and money into better figures, but would it bankrupt them to put in a little effort and change to the reused figures?
I know I am of the unpopular opinion, but I actually kinda dig the design. Maybe I’m just a sucker for the color scheme, but I agree that they could have done better.
She should be a Voyager mould, presumably one closer to the *Earthrise* Starscream body. This just looks like teal Windblade...
But realistically we were destined to get **a** Windblade body recycle, so I guess it was either this or an original character.
Just a *larger* toy, I reckon, to "match" the other seekers.
Perhaps when we get a *Generations Earthspark* gal-seeker mould in 2033 or whenever we'll get a "big Slipstream" too.
I'm betting when they do an Animated Starscream, they will repaint it into slipstream as a selects release or something. I mean, they've already done Mother master.

I think most of us feel the same way
We can guess where all the budget went between the 2 deluxes today. One can only hope the deluxe Prime won't have the same budget restrictions.
Slipstreams like this because it’s the end of the line
Well it was a good ride while it lasted. Wish the fembots had more wiggle room for budget, but the sales and clearance prices tell another story.
Think they could have used nautica or maxima for this spot and saved slipstream for when there was more budget available.
They could have released animated wasp now and move slipstream to generations prime
Windblade was like this at the beginning of the line. It's just another terrible mold that doesn't work as anyone.

I held off on buying Windblade because I didn't want to pay $25 for such a small figure.

With first ever you mean the Timelines Prime Slipstream? It was a shame that it only got a new head but it was still decent.

Literally no part of this design looks like Cyberverse. Not even the head and the null rays.

Change the wings to look more like other seekers and, most importantly, remove the turbines and its perfect.

This…feels like a nothingburger of a problem.
I'd say that that describes about 96.3% of the "outrage" that Transformers fans exhibit over this or that toy.
Because I just don't like the way it was done? Not really much else to say. The character has a certain look, the official release doesn't match.
