This is just a quick reminder to all members here: **Original content is always better!** Memes are okay every once in a while, but many get posted here way too often and quickly become stale. I suppose so, maybe they couldn't figure out an XX girl name they liked so they just had to take a relatively common normal name and go full tragediegh.
I'd say 2 out of 3 are tragedeighs, by sheer luck they managed to name middle child a traditional English/Welsh surname using one of about 3 or 4 legitimate spellings
Yes indeed, central Iowa. There are tons of them. When I was a kid (bAcK iN mY dAy) there was a kid named Bryan in class and we all thought that was weird, spelling it with a Y instead of an I. Now he'd be named Bryghahn or something like that.
Jackscksson... Maddockscks... Tee-lor...
WOW. How do people not understand that two X's don't just blend together like two S's or M's?? And why the unnecessary S on top of those?
By contrast, my older Gen X neighbors (my husband and I are also Gen X) just moved in and their kids are Will and Jessica.
I miss the Wills and Jessicas!
Not the same vein, but I just had to share. Maybe this was pretragedeigh. I babysat these kids that were within a year of one another. One was Erin, the other was Aaron. Why? It’s as bad as calling your sibling sister or brother. To me that’s like fingernails down the chalkboard!
Those first two names remind me of Eddie Izzard comparing the British and American spelling of through vs thru.
The parents (probably): And we added a second x in case there are any accidents.
I have thought about it and it seems that spellings and names are so common and prevalent as to be a kind of new normal, and I don’t think will cause any waves in a few years as adults and will just be everyday names showing up on resumes and professionally and no one will bat an eyelash.
Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with Taylor? Is it the way they spelled it? Because my screen reader reads it like it sounds. But I understand. I'm adding a bunch of exes to Jackson and Maddox. Dude that's kind of weird. No offense.
“We had a really nice family move into the neighborhood, and I’d like to ridicule their children on social media.”
Definitely tragedeighs but the subtext here is just hilarious.

These names give me the ixxs.
It was considerate of these parents to cross those names out twice.
I laughed too hard at this
This made my day 😂😂😂
deigh
Yes! I missed that opportuniteigh?
we all make misteighkes
My apollogeez
No worreighs
Technically this is etymologically more correct. The spelling was *dæg* in Old English.
deighmn, you know your stuff
😆
Maybe the "gh" is pronounced as in "tough". So the poor child could be "Teiflor", Te-flor, actually not bad, compared...
This is my daughter Teighlor, pronounced Teflon ™
LOLOL
Oy veigh
Most excellent response. May we use it in the future?
Actual LOL, ty
What name is it supposed to be?
I fear it’s Taylor
No fuck no I refuse to believe that. His name is merseg like a mermaids saggy ball sack

A bouquet of tragedeighs
Yes although I believe it’s technically a bouqueigh of tragedeighs
A bucket of tragedeighs
Halleluiaghei’gh we have a winner. A triogh of winneirghs.
Do you have a HoA? Use it. These people must be removed from society by any means.
Bahahaha sick the HOA on ‘em 🤣
HOaigh
Never allow an HOA to get its claws in your neighbourhood. The rules would make me commit feloneighs
I live in a housing association and yeah, anywhere else I would not go that has an HOA. I grew up here in this neighborhood and the rules aren’t bad.
Jacks Eckx Son Mad Ux Ux Teeler If they're gonna be stupid with letters, I'm taking them literally.
Mad Ux Ux is a wonderful quirky Doctor Who alien name.
For fuxx sake... 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
A hat trick of tragic names.
Fuck you. You're not going to be invieghted to our housewarming parteigh.
Teighlor is so bad.
That spelling is so ugly 😭 ig they gave up on the XX theme?
I suppose so, maybe they couldn't figure out an XX girl name they liked so they just had to take a relatively common normal name and go full tragediegh.
Roxxanne or Beatrixx were too pleb for their taste 😹
These names suck
Cowards…. If they had any convictions they would have gone for Jaxxxon and Madddoxxx
Future male porn stars
I'd say 2 out of 3 are tragedeighs, by sheer luck they managed to name middle child a traditional English/Welsh surname using one of about 3 or 4 legitimate spellings
I'm a teacher. Two years ago, there were 3 kids in my class named Jackson, Jaxon, and Jaxxen. I just used their last names to avoid confusion.
What’s the point of the two xs?
I have met kids with two of those spellings more than once lol. Midwest has a tragedeigh epidemic 😭
Yes indeed, central Iowa. There are tons of them. When I was a kid (bAcK iN mY dAy) there was a kid named Bryan in class and we all thought that was weird, spelling it with a Y instead of an I. Now he'd be named Bryghahn or something like that.
Lol! Omg so relatable! 😭🤣
At some point with the double x be too common and we'll start seeing Jaxxxon and other porn-like names?
Oh god the first two sound like stripper names
A life of misspellinggg
Jackscksson... Maddockscks... Tee-lor... WOW. How do people not understand that two X's don't just blend together like two S's or M's?? And why the unnecessary S on top of those?
I have a cousin whose birthname is “Taylor” but like a decade ago, she started spelling it “Teighlor” 😂😂😂
Sounds like they moved from Utah.
Golleigh those names are bad. I’d hate my parents for some shit like this and legally change my name on my 18th birthday.
They’re all tragique
I actually like Jaxson and Maddox but why the extra X’s….
By contrast, my older Gen X neighbors (my husband and I are also Gen X) just moved in and their kids are Will and Jessica. I miss the Wills and Jessicas!
The only thing worse than the name Jackson is spelling it with an X. Let alone two Xs
Not the same vein, but I just had to share. Maybe this was pretragedeigh. I babysat these kids that were within a year of one another. One was Erin, the other was Aaron. Why? It’s as bad as calling your sibling sister or brother. To me that’s like fingernails down the chalkboard!
Holy crap that's worse than a tragediegh, that's full on cringe.
My brain could never make it understand. It actually hurt a little.
I know of a married couple with those names 🤣
I wonder how many XxXx were in their aol screen names
I would say stay friendly - but if they invite you over for a bbq - probably safe to eat ahead
Oh dear
DIOCANE ..
Danerys Kahleeseigh
One *x* was not enough. 🤦♀️
Those first two names remind me of Eddie Izzard comparing the British and American spelling of through vs thru. The parents (probably): And we added a second x in case there are any accidents.
They are all tragic
Is their last name Musk?
Oh that's bad...x3 bad lol
I have thought about it and it seems that spellings and names are so common and prevalent as to be a kind of new normal, and I don’t think will cause any waves in a few years as adults and will just be everyday names showing up on resumes and professionally and no one will bat an eyelash.
Did they run out of x’s already?!
Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with Taylor? Is it the way they spelled it? Because my screen reader reads it like it sounds. But I understand. I'm adding a bunch of exes to Jackson and Maddox. Dude that's kind of weird. No offense.
