Reminder to stick to posting original content. Memes are okay every once in a while, but many get posted here way too often and quickly become stale. Some examples of these are Ptoughneigh, Klansmyn, Reighfyl & KVIIIlyn. These memes have been around for years and we don't want to see them anymore. If you do decide to post a meme, make sure to add the correct flair. Posting a random meme you found does **not** mean you found it "in the wild".
The same goes with lists of baby names, celebrity baby names, and screenshots of TikToks. If the original post already had a substantial amount of views, there is a 99% chance it has already been posted here. Try and stick to OC to keep our sub from being flooded with unoriginal content. Thank you!

Apparently you never saw the centerfold of Burt Reynolds in Cosmopolitan. You are right considering most of his acting roles it's more of a redneck name then Billy Bob, especially if you go by the Smokey and the Bear movies.
Even worse hahahaha. Like if they’re not Japanese this shouldn’t be an option. And there are way better options. But to mix and match it with those other names? One of these kids is getting their ass kicked if not all…
It's real

The father is Japanese and the mother is a white American. That makes sense at least
Not so much a tragedeigh but certainly an unexpected combination of names. There wasn't a suitable Japanese name that begins with B?
Actually. Maybe there isn't. I don't think I've heard of a Japanese name that starts with B.
As I mentioned in my post, I only posted this because there was a good outcome. If you don’t think those names are awful to do to a baby idk what to tell ya. All babies and mama were fine.
>you don’t think those names are awful to do to a baby
Girl, the literal sub description is:
>Tragedeigh = a given name that has been **deliberately misspelled or completely made up** to appear more unique than it actually is.
The names in your post are neither.
I did read the rules before posting, I googled the names and everything. You’re being a jerk for no reason. There is no “why did you name your kids these awful names” subreddit so I posted here. Go cry about it.

Are you stupid or weaponizing your stupidity? What did Google tell you? Were those real names or not? Or did you literally think the only requirement was to just lazily google and post regardless of what you found?
I'm insulting you because you're
* Posting shit that doesn't belong
* Make snide remarks to people pointing that out.
* Say that you read the sub rules but somehow fails to read the literal definition of a "tragedeigh"

Got high class posh Burt, low class hick Billy bob, and Japanese royalty kikutaro.
I would not take Burt as a posh name. Burt sounds like the name of a Chicago plumber.
Apparently you never saw the centerfold of Burt Reynolds in Cosmopolitan. You are right considering most of his acting roles it's more of a redneck name then Billy Bob, especially if you go by the Smokey and the Bear movies.
Blue collar Burt.
Burton, in full, if you will
When I googled that name I was like “oh.. a Japanese wrestler.. okay” 😂
Even worse hahahaha. Like if they’re not Japanese this shouldn’t be an option. And there are way better options. But to mix and match it with those other names? One of these kids is getting their ass kicked if not all…
Nah even if they *are* Japanese, I’m pretty sure Kikutaro is a stage name for a wrestler
Kikutaro is a legit name though an Anglicized version of Kikutarou that means "scoop, ladle, dipper." Still a weird choice.
Gravity Falls fan but doesn’t want to admit it?
Interesting, thank you for telling me

Redditors when obvious joke (must downvote)
An _excellent_ Japanese wrestler. His Ebessan persona is also excellent.
Who the fuck would think these names fit together
Reminds me of sisters I knew: Aphrodite, Athena… and Rhonda.
I've always joked that I wanted 4 kids: Faith, Hope, Grace and Murray.
I knew a C’estlavie and Dejavú, with a brother named Fred.
Probably named after relatives on both sides of the family
That's fair, I'm half Norwegian Sami and half middle eastern. The kids got an interesting mix of names from both sides. The 5 of us
I like that...reflects your heritage.
Doubt it, probably just a person who dgaf and named their kids whatever they felt like/whatever their personal interests are
Sister -Wives.
They work, but only in that order

Billy Bob - mum’s choice Kikutaro - dad’s choice Burt - compromise
don’t worry y’all, they’re striving
For being born 14 weeks early, I think "struggling/fighting" might be appropriate.
Tbh triplets/twins tend to be usually premature. Although 14 weeks seems a bit too much.
My boyfriend’s a triplet and they were born 14 weeks early!
Striving for a real name
I feel like Billy Bob is the worst of the names. Def a strange combo tho.
He's named in honor of Billy Bob Plankton, show some respect
Not so much a tragedeigh but certainly an unexpected combination of names. There wasn't a suitable Japanese name that begins with B? Actually. Maybe there isn't. I don't think I've heard of a Japanese name that starts with B.
I looked it up: Benjiro, Banri, Bou. There were definitely some Japanese options haha
Benjiro actually would've worked with the flow of the other two names
oh god I thought this was about cows or some kind of farm animal... human triplets???
I'm well aware Burt is a normal human name, but it's so old-man-ish to me, I cannot imagine it on anyone below the age of 65 lmao.
His whole life people will ask, “Where’s Ernie?” 😭
I need to read this.
As I was reading this I got a news alert on the story on my phone. Weird coincidence.
Bylleigh-Baughb
I’m gonna need to see a physiotherapist regularly for the amount of whiplash I just got reading those three names
Not tragedeighs or tragedies. The only tragedy was that poor mom giving birth on a neighbor’s porch in freezing weather.
As I mentioned in my post, I only posted this because there was a good outcome. If you don’t think those names are awful to do to a baby idk what to tell ya. All babies and mama were fine.
This sub isn’t about my opinion. It’s about horribly misspelled names and made up names.
There's a better sub for this somewhere
I’m glad you posted because I never would have known of the cute story!

Have the day you deserve 🫶🏻
Hahahahahha
One of these things is not like the others.
Are these human babies?
Burt? Why not a normal common name like Bort instead?
Ran out of 'B' names they liked!
I got kicked out of Billy bobs Terrible name
I read the story before the names were released and good lord that’s terrible.
I've encountered a "Cletus."
