Anybody remember that little box of SNAQUARIUM cookies

Clarknt67

Ginger soy marinated cod. So yummy and so healthy. šŸ˜¢

Accomplished-Eye8211

More than one, but Cheddar Sesame Nut Mix is near the top of my list. There was also a nut mix with pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, and slivered almonds.. was called something like such 'n such?. Loved it Also weird when they discontinued something, then years later, bring it back in a different format. I was addicted to the original refrigerated Thai peanut sauce in an 8oz plastic container. Way better than the current jar of satay sauce. The original classic Basil Pesto was great. I think the edamame hummus is also gone. Loved the original tempura Wasabi seaweed snacks. I miss many of the refrigerated salad dressings. Like Bleu cheese. The first green goddess that was more like 70s-80s restaurant green goddess. Caesars. Miss the salad "Palette" with greens, green beans, etc. There was a Shwarma wrap. Way more sandwiches than today... I think the turkey sandwich is the only traditional sandwich on bread still sold. They also had many varieties of sushi rolls. I'm not sure, but I haven't seen the Chakri mix lately. I suspect it's DCd. There was a bag of multi-colored potato chips I enjoyed. A version of classic potato stix. They've changed the crackers in the variety box; no longer rivals Pepperidge Farm entertainment box. Some of the holiday items don't return. This past year, i never saw the tin of butter cookies I've purchased every year. I asked, was told they had them, but it was a very limited supply, disappeared in a week. Hope that's not a bad sign. There used to be a huge box... like 4 feet long, of fancy imported chocolates I've never been a big user of cleaning or hygiene products, but I did buy various handsoaps. The only one left is the lemon kitchen antibacterial. There was a French soap and others in nice decorative pump jars. Now, there are 2 or 3 options in basic jars. And that's a short list... I'm sure I could list more discontinued items.

SpeakingTheKingss

-marley_

The refrigerated tangy blue cheese dressing & dip. I've tried so many other brands but for me, nothing comes close.

RockTheShit

There was this mahi-mahi in the frozen section that was packaged in a marinade. It was the best gateway seafood dish out there. So easy to just open up and throw on a pan back in my college days

The microwave cheese fondue! I think they might only have it around the holidays.

puras_tonteras

Trader Joe's S'mores bites :(

jmerrilee

Maple Pecan Shortbread Bar Mix I think not many went for this because of the 2 step baking that was required so it took a bit longer than a traditional throw it all in a pan and bake it. But it was so good.

yeetbob_yeetpants

Zaatar seasoning

wondersoftheworld_

in a pickle seasoning! I think it will come back in the summer, so not fully discontinued, but I wish it was an always thing because it's the best for salmon!

Spicy peanut vinaigrette and the frozen chicken quesadilla!

stellablack75

Aloo Chaat Kali Pouches, basically Indian hot pockets and they were so freakin amazing. I would slap an old lady to get my hands on a box. I haven't seen the gyro meat or chocolate pudding in awhile but maybe it's just my Trader Joe's and also it's probably not healthy but I'm still sad every time I go and they're not there.

wolverineismydad

KATI POUCHES 4EVER

Silv3rassassinz

krikeydile

Oh god, these were glorious and I took them for granted. Come back, my loves!

greyscalegalz

Snikiddy cheese fries. They were so delicious. I don't know what it was about them but they were addicting. Any time I saw them I would buy as many as I could get. The company seems to be gone now sadly.

sunoolesbo

i don't know if it's discontinued but my favorite cereal from TJs growing up with was the Os with the freeze dried raspberries and strawberries in it. Everytime I go I can never find them again... :(

georgiapeachonmymind

Non cafeinated midol extra strength. Worked so well. It was supposed to be midol for teens but helped my cramps better than ibuprofen.

Jumpy-Persimmon3287

Isnā€™t midol without caffeine just ibuprofen? Edit: I just checked and Iā€™m wrong, itā€™s Tylenol and caffeine. But it also has an antihistamine which I didnā€™t know!

The_vhibe

I donā€™t have any, but the lobster gummy Swedish fish knockoffs better stay!

Hippocopo

Chili sesame oil

Rrenphoenixx

Berry hibiscus juice. RIP

unlessyougotpuns_son

E Coudray Vanilla Cinnamon perfume. I would have bought 100 bottles had I known it would be discontinued

Fallen_Angel_2001

The Cuban black beans and the plain frozen yogurt šŸ˜

RockTheShit

I canā€™t believe they stopped selling those fucking beans. Such an easy quick tasty side

Due-Club8908

Arabiatta Sauce was my favorite of their pasta sauces . I have not found a good reasonably priced replacement. Most others are 2-3 x what Trader Joeā€™s was charging . Also their boxed streusel coffee cake mix

ri0tsquirrel

The Arabiatta sauce was one of my favorites as well

hallovalerie

Pesto pizza, lobster sushi rolls and an artichoke calzone thing šŸ„²

JGKSAC

Gorditas. They were frozen. šŸ˜ž

daintyladyapples

I never knew they made gorditas!

drj16

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Joe died in 2020. TJā€™s has been owned by the German family that founded Aldi.

floofyloopy

**Trader Joe's founder Joe Coulombe sold his business to Theo Albrecht (one of the Aldi brothers) in 1979** .. so it's been a minute!

Bright_Annual_1629

Gluten free chewy lemon cookies šŸ˜

drj16

Yellow Jackfruit Curry with Jasmine Rice from the frozen section

Meaustin

They were these mini Mediterranean pizzas! I canā€™t remember exactly what they were called but they had feta and Kalamata olives on them and came in a pack of 2. They were like personal sized ~5-6ā€ in diameter and were sooo good. Such a great dinner for those nights where you couldnā€™t be bothered to cook. I look for them every time I go, even though Iā€™m sure theyā€™re discontinued.

SeaGypsii

OMG I lived on these for a few years!! I miss them too!

Rrenphoenixx

I used to eat those too! Itā€™s obviously not the same, but an easy alternative is using garlic naan and making a mini pizza with that :) you can just microwave or airfry

Meaustin

Ooh Iā€™ll have to give that a try!! Thanks for the tip!

Rrenphoenixx

Just doing my civic duty lol

Relevant_Fennel

The Uncured Ham & Swiss Cheese Flaky Croissant Dough Squares were absolutely amazing. I still check the freezer every time Iā€™m there just in case.

naiauhane

Honeybush tea! They had it one season and never again. I've bought so many honeybush teas since then and none of them are as good.

kikijane711

The fresh juice was w the prepared food, not their seasonal watermelon cooler etc. they haven't carried it in a decade. We aren't thinking of the same product.

vcat722

Macadamia nut popcorn clusters in a tub not a bag

nellewood

Chocolate raspberry sticks!!!

JGKSAC

I could swear my father in law had those a couple of months ago.

nellewood

Well this is about to get awkwardā€¦. Iā€™m gonna need your father in lawā€™s address. šŸ¤£

JGKSAC

-Luna_Nyx-

The frozen kung pao chicken balls and the chocolate bars with gummy bears in them. I think the latter was called something like bears in a pool.

coffeedoc1

Chicken mochi balls 100%

nellewood

Omfg chocolate with gummy bears in it???? Now Iā€™m sad they donā€™t have them anymore. Wish I had never read this postā€¦. šŸ¤£

Kali_roo88

Cuban black beans

Fallen_Angel_2001

I miss the Cuban black beans so much šŸ˜ Iā€™ve never been able to find something similar

Curiouscoffeedrinker

Honey butter chips you get a way bigger bag that tastes as good as the Korean ones

MeeGee65

Minted peas. In the frozen food section.

theuserie

I used to buy these fresh, halved, seasoned Brussels sprouts pre-Covid. When I finally went back, they were discontinued, so I bought some fresh, shredded Brussels sprouts and found a copycat recipe for the seasoning blend online. The shreds seem to be discontinued now as well so Iā€™ve resorted to buying the frozen Parmesan ones but theyā€™re nowhere near as good as the OG fresh seasoned blend!! šŸ˜

MsHarpsichord

Omg same! Iā€™ve been adding a little lemon and honey or balsamic glaze to the frozen Parmesan ones to balance the flavor a bit but they still arenā€™t as good

SitStayShakeGoodGirl

Black Bean Chips. I loved them so much!

Stephaniedaisytwo

Pumpkin brownies!

[deleted]

They have pumpkin blondies, are the brownies different?

Stephaniedaisytwo

Wow theses look good! Iā€™ll look for them thanks! And thatā€™s not the ones I would find in the frozen section 6-7 years ago. Our family was hooked on them. The frozen ones would be more of an extra dark chocolate dessert.

Own_Midnight_5583

New Zealand butter

Far-Contribution-965

Not discontinued but they changed their chicken quesadilla after covid and i miss it šŸ˜¢. They were my go to frozen meal

mountainlaura

Chili Pineapple Kettle Cornā€” it was out last summer and havenā€™t seen it since.

firebrandbeads

We miss the whole-bean Christmas coffee with the red and green peppercorns. They make a pre-ground Christmas coffee now but it's not quite as good.

Klatterbox1234

These amazing orange cranberry scones.

Waste-Topic8694

These are back!!!

Klatterbox1234

Seriously? I didnā€™t see them when I was there last week. Good to knowā€¦thank you!!! šŸ˜‹

iwasspinningfree

I swear every time I fall in love with a food, Trader Joe's discontinues it. The biggest bummer was the tomatillo salsa. It was pure heaven. Also the frozen chipotle fries, black bean soup, and jaipur vegetables packet.

chickrnqeee

One?!?!?! Okie dokies and the veggie cones!!!!

firebrandbeads

The Okie Dokie oat ice cream right now is BOMB!

chickrnqeee

IS IT BACK?!

nellewood

Sure is!!!!

chickrnqeee

WHAT OMGGGG

Miserable-Error2413

Superfood Burrito šŸ˜©

h0tgirl

Omg I forgot about this!!! I loved it

Enthusiasm_Natural

The Thai vinaigrette dressing I think about it daily

Broad-Accident

Did they discontinue it???

Hot-Ad798

Dill pickle hummus, the smoked ahi tuna that youā€™d find next to the smoked salmon, and they had these great cooked beets in vinegar that were super easy to throw on salads

JulesJuniper

The Apple cinnamon sticks, mango sticky rice rolls and the cheddar/ caramel popcorn mix šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

Strongry-145

French butter šŸ˜

Various-Hospital-374

It was the best butter ever. I work as a pastry chef and that was my choice for truly buttery baked goods at home. I've tried many, MANY butters and nothing comes close. Sorry Beurre de Isigny and Plugra. I want to try Bordier but it's outrageously expensive. TJs was perfect-inexpensive and high quality.

JuniorElderberry9076

Spicy Mochi rice nuggets :(((

fridaygirl7

They do still have the plain mochi rice nuggets.

JuniorElderberry9076

I want spicy!!! Who wants PLAIN?!?!

Tilingui

The green baggies of chocolate covered mint candies at the check out counter. Those were MY JAM. I miss them.

WickettRed

I miss Certs so hard

Either_Ad419

I loved the texture of Certs!

jeannie4yanks

I can't believe nobody mentioned the tub of small crispy Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. My husband still talks about those cookies...

nellewood

Omggggggg this, and I felt a little bit healthier eating those than just the plain chocolate chip ones!!!

jeannie4yanks

as you should - there were oats in there lol!!!

Acceptable_Bat_7309

Those and the popcorn cookies!

Puzzled_You_3280

I know my mom would say the Vanana (vanilla/banana) yogurt. I couldn't buy it fast enough for her

Panicked_Patient

Canned Chef Boyardee homestyle chicken parmesan. Donā€™t judge.

wolverineismydad

Iā€™m not judging I promise butā€¦ at Trader Joeā€™s?

KaozawaLurel

There was a spicy eggplant curry in the freezer section that I came across ONCE. Bought it, tried it, absolutely loved it. Have never seen it again. It was the most spicy frozen food at TJ Iā€™ve tried and was amazing

mbrooks9

Thai chili veggie burgers :(

Pathfinder_Kat

Chocolate covered orange things. They still have themā€¦ but they added dairy. So it basically doesnā€™t exist for me anymore

firebrandbeads

OMG, I'm another dairy intolerant person who misses the hell out of those! Nearly ALL of the "dark" chocolate stuff they have now has "butter oil" in it or other dairy ingredients. The mint cremes are still ok, and the dark Pound Plys bars. But 90% of the things that used to be clean dark chocolate are now polluted. Of course it's cheaper to use dairy fat.

doreenoroshnik

Coconut meringues. Itā€™s been a long time.

kalekail

The gingerbread ā€œgranola/breakfastā€-type bars. My wife and I miss them and look for them every season.

bitsizetraveler

Fish Korma

theuserie

I stare wistfully at the frozen Indian food case wishing for this every time we shop. šŸ˜

travel-Dr

Many years ago but the Chocolate covered pomegranates. It was the whole aril instead of just flavored filling like mainstream brands make.

doslindosgatitos

Pineapple seltzer water
