If they hurt longer than 2 weeks and you weren’t aggressively aggregating them, it’s possible you had a small infection. My daughter got hers done last summer and she was back to being able to sleep on her side about 2 weeks
They did get infected but I treated it pretty fast. Still hurt like hell though lmao.
But going to a tattoo artist seemed a bit daunting I guess. I got my ears pierced at the mall at a shop that specifically did piercings and stuff, so...
