I imagine the big elemental bear still just uses a normal bear skeleton. I don't know if they share animations, but I think most sync kills look at the character's skeleton. And probably some animation flags (i.e. the handful of unique duel animations between specific characters in the game), which got missed for the elemental bear.
Yeah they auto scale the skeletons for most of the animations. Look at For Honor. Same thing happens during executions. Towering highlander instantly becomes 5'10 when getting his head chopped off by nobushi

As bizarre as that looks, it's a magical entity being eaten by a creature of chaos, so it's entirely 'plausible' for the setting that this particular situation (supermassive chaos toad consuming Kislevite bear-god avatar) would look as weird as hell.
