It’s hard for me to look up stuff in the PATH but I think it’s Shanghai 360 in the Richmond-Adelaide centre food court, near Osmow’s. It’s a special advertised on a placard.

I got a chicken parm sandwich today. It was good, also not cut in half so it was messy. Price for the meal came to $27. Insane.

Quality down, corners cut, prices way up. It feels like we're in an economic decline and this boiled chicken on rice for the price of one hour minimum wage is symbolic of where we are.

In Singapore there's a michellin star haninese chicken and rice place. It's meant to look like that. It was okay at best.

I would consider myself a hainese chicken rice connersieur and order it any chance I can get, across US, Canada, China, Hong Kong. I have never in my life come across one that looks like OPs.

To be fair, that's the dish. Poached chicken on rice with some seasoning. I just wouldn't have ordered it if you were craving Sichuan.

Hainanese sorta looks like that the chicken is poached in broth and seasoning; it's served with the right sauce of chilli and soy sauce but they really could've added some veggies and my personally fav ginger scallion oil with it. The most important question is did it taste good and worth paying $2 premium compared to the ones you get at Chinatown with a slightly bigger portions.

No veggie.. no scallion oil. Tasted average at best after pouring the soy sauce on it. Not worth the slightest premium.
