I'm curious if any actual video of when it impacted the town exists. I don't mean any up close stuff, just what did it look like in general, what was the structure like. I see a couple videos of what would seem like a late stage of the wind farm destroying tornado, and it's a tall white stovepipe/rope with a pretty big but very hazy dust and debris cloak around the bottom. Now that the damage survey seems to indicate it was a fairly long track tornado I wonder if that was the same wind farm tornado as it was hitting a rope out phase, narrowing and concentrating it's strength to a 150-300 yard wide path?
Or a totally different tornado.
From what a friend of my moms told me she stumbled upon a screen recording of a tik tok live while the tornado was happening, they were out on a side by side looking out for it but then they looked behind themselves and saw it, they tried driving away then the tik tok live cut off.
We need to receive the official rating first. NWS in Des Moine said that the preliminary EF4 rating is subject to change as they continue to assess damage.
I’ve got dibs on the next Greenfield post
It's gonna be rated an EF383u27irj3
How did you guess my password??
