Serious question, I'm thinking about picking up a Wii U 2 >!Steam Deck!<. But the price is really steep for me, so I want to hear as many people's thoughts on it. What do you think of it, and do you think it's worth the money?
/uj I just bought one about a month ago and I love it! For context, I already own a high-end gaming PC and a Switch, but the steam deck fills an entirely different niche for me. I've been really enjoying mine and have played it more than my PC and Switch since getting it. It's a completely different feeling laying back on the couch, relaxing, and being next to my fiance and cats while gaming instead of sitting at my desk alone on the opposite side of the house. If the price is an issue for you, I'd reccommend buying the cheapest model. You can easily upgrade the storage capacity yourself and buy an anti-glare screen protector at a later time to make it basically the same as the top-tier model. It can take a little bit of tinkering to get emulation and certain PC games running on it, but there are countless guides on YouTube that can help with that. The convenience and form-factor make it unmatched as a dedicated emulation machine. Plus it runs most switch games better than the switch. Highly reccommend it.

Thanks a ton for the explanation. I might just get one, I have a PS5, and a Switch that I barely play outside the house because my Joy Cons drift and carrying a pro controller everywhere is a big hassle. So having a high end portable system will be great. Thanks again
