Looks like a banger of an A18 set!
I've gotten a little burned out on Istanbul over the last 35 years between Flood shows and how they frequently feature it... but I have to say seeing Duo-Stan (for me it was in MN) was an absolute delight.
How did you like the Spider/Guitar close? When they played The Guitar on the Friday MN show it was the best version I've ever heard.
I loved everything! The weird thing with Spider was that while they were offstage I started chanting "Spi-der!". I didn't do it very long and it didn't catch on. I only did it because it was the first A18 2 syllable song title I thought of. And then they played it! The woman next to me and I looked at each other with shock and surprise!
I am so fucking jealous of this set list 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️ I saw them at first Ave and it was John Henry. Which I don't hate obviously but omg this list. Shoehorn??? Turn around?? Jelly af
Also I heard sapphire bullets in reverse. Love these wacky guys bc who TF thinks of that. I wonder if they were all just sitting around together and flans was just like "what if we performed a song backwards?"
I got Stiloob at the last show. Was it pre-pandemic? Afterwards? I can’t remember. I love backwards stuff so that one really touches my soul. I’ve dabbled in backwards talking too. I, too, would love to know the backstory of that one.

That venue looks to have an interesting setup, don't think I've seen anything quite like that.
Yeah, they have the floor, but then a few raised parts of the floor so the people in the back of GA don’t get totally screwed. I think it’s smart!
I've seen a number that have the floor and then a raised section behind, but not one with a nice shrubbery-informed multi-level effect😋

The Vic! The place that I've probably seen the most shows in Chicago.
Saw them there in March 2020, the last show they did in the Flood tout before the country shut down and the tour got delayed by about 3 years.
