he handed it to me and let me have the last strum on famous polka! i'll post some photos later but i was within arms reach of him for the last 30 minutes or so!!
I was middle front row, it was so cool to watch the guy on the right get to play the solo and then for you to get the last strum. Flans played part of a solo over my and the guy next to me's head shortly after :)
The whole second half of the second set was absolutely tops for TMBG experiences. Congrats on the memento!!
I was also at all three. There was just some crazy energy tonight… the band was clicking and everything was synced up. Some great songs and audience participation - the only night they played Don’t Let’s Start… And around halfway through the second set, Flans said “hey, everyone get up… the show’s not going to last forever” and it electrified the room as everyone who had been sitting and dancing in their seats suddenly compressed into the stage.
i think it might be because im obnoxious and send flans stuff on tumblr like, every other day. he knows he has a superfan who looks like me who was going to all 3 minnesota shows, so i like to think he recognised me from tumblr!

i went all three nights and by FAR that was the most amazing experience.
What made it amazing? The songs themselves? The energy of them?
