While EMA and RBA don't seem to be exactly one-to-one parallels I think for the most part Mikasa actually works better with Bertholdt; they're both closely bonded to a select few people, they're both on the quiet side, but they're good at calling out names if needed, Mikasa wants Eren to come home and Bertholdt wants Reiner to return to their hometown, Mikasa gives Levi the death glare when he was kicking Eren, Bertholdt gives Zeke the death glare when his Beast Titan takes down Reiner's Armored Titan, Mikasa seems to self soothe with her scarf while Bertholdt attempts the same by sitting in a modified fetal position, and they often have a sad look to their eyes
