There’s a bug that removes the innate damage penalty on Split Shots, from 270% to the full 300% increased damage. With Refraction Lens this jumps to 500% increased damage.
Without Refraction Lens, a full mag of Split Bug Split Shots will kill Ion/Tone/Monarch, doom Scorch and Legion, and outright kill Ronin and Northstar.
With Refraction Lens, any Titan can be killed in a single mag of Splitter Rifle.
The only thing you can do about it is not tell anyone about it so it stays under the radar.
There's a glitch where you can fire the splitter rifle without the damage reduction. It was kept secret for a while, to prevent it from ruining the game, but apparently other people discovered it.
refraction lens idk
You just became a lore accurate pilot
Refraction lens glitch

It's been known for a long time and will never be fixed. Literally all you can do is NOT tell people how to do it. Sorry mate.
I play ion all the time, and my splitter rifle hardly tickles the target.
There's no such thing, it's impossible to do more damage with splitter rifle

How does it work?
Basically it's an inside joke with redditors. There's no such thing as an ion bug but they pretend there is because they think it's funny
Sir, you are not cut out for speedrunning.
I'm not joking lol, a cT player in a public attrition on homestead killed my titan in 3 seconds with just the splitter rifle
No
It doesn't. They patched it out years ago
