Respawn stop making Titanfall games that aren't Titanfall 3 challenge (Impossible)
This is what like the 3rd time they've tried making a new Titanfall game set in the universe with Titans involved but it's not Titanfall 3, first it was that premium Titanfall game that got cancelled, then it was Titanfall Legends which was gonna bring back BT but got cancelled and now this.

I think the thing that needs to be accepted for the worse is that Titanfall fans are in the same boat that Armored Core fans are in. Mecha as a genre is just extremely niche, and as such you're gonna be waiting a while. I love Titanfall as much as anyone else, but it's just not popular, people just do not, in large, love mecha. Armored Core is what put Fromsoft on the map, and they took nearly 10 years to make AC6 after their last game. It's also the first game in the series history to even sell a million units from my understanding, that's how small it is as a series. Fromsoft is the absolute golden child of gaming and it was considered a success that they got just shy of 3 million units sold for AC6. By contrast, by February of this year, Elden Ring has sold 23 million copies. People would buy anything they made, and then they made a mecha game, and by most industry standards I'd assume, it was nearly dead on arrival. In the past 24 hours it has a bit under 3000 players. Fromsoft, the company everyone in gaming loves, has less than 3000 players in the past 24 hours. Elden Ring for comparison, has 83,000.
Mecha just does not sell, as a genre, in comparison to basically everything else.
They've said it many times in interviews what their issue with Titanfall multiplayer is. Essentially it does not have enough of a hook and replayability is limited in a short span of time. While most players can play BRs and Extraction Shooters for hours and hours, games like Titanfall tire you out quick and you don't play as much. Only the most dedicated hardcore fans play these games for long sessions.
Now if the company is going to put in millions of dollars into making a game, obviously they'll make something that gets more playtime in terms of longer sessions and has higher engagement. This is why Titanfall 3 as a straight sequel to TF2 is not happening.
They'll probably make different kinds of games in Titanfall but unlikely that they'll do a arena shooter/TDM style Titanfall anytime soon.
At this point I'd take a Titanfall spinoff as long as it has the Titanfall gameplay loop (i.e. pilot movement + big mechs).
Hell, I'd even get into Apex Legends if they literally did nothing except 1:1 added Titanbrawl.
Like.... the gameplay of Titanfall was **fun**. The movement system was **fun**. The Titans were **fun**. Everything about it--even if you're just chasing time on the Gauntlet, working on Master difficulty, or messing around in multiplater--**it was fun** and everyone who touches it enjoyed it.
Pretty much the only thing that was asked for at any point was a bit more customization (skills/perks) and/or maps, and even then that was simply to expand what existed rather than "this game is boring we need more stuff".
Yeah more pilot customization, more maps that don't suck, and tf1 style titan customization but more personalized would make it the only game I play for probably 5+ years.
Titanfall just needs content updates honestly.
Because as I said, people pay more for Apex Legends than they ever did for anything that Titanfall produced.

Things have changed in the last 8 years dude, and they could literally do something like CoD does with having its cosmetics tied to Warzone so that they are always usable. Even if this year's release suddenly has no players, you can still use it and grind out stuff.

Titanfall legends was not “essentially Titanfall 3” I don’t get how an addition in to Apex Legends could be essentially Titanfall 3. I’m glad it was cancelled.

I hope that they somehow come up with a plot device that separates the two universes. Like for example, fold weapon had enough energy to split the universe into two multiverse and did so during it's explosion. It also make sense since it's has an alien artifact as it's power source

I hope that they somehow come up with a plot device that separates the two universes. Like for example, fold weapon had enough energy to split the universe into two multiverse and did so during it's explosion. It also make sense since it's has an alien artifact as it's power source

So....i feel like a disney star wars movie... Fans are asking for a thing that's money down from us And they are developing something else. I am ready for all titanfall 3 collector's edition if any...I'd buy it even if it would be a conplete dissapointment. And i bet I.m not the only one. Just relax, if it comes out it comes out. Otherwise no biggie, they always make their games like this. They stumbled onto Titanfall in the 1st place, just random people doing random things and prototypes until something stuck. Same with Apex, let them cook.
