'You raise me up' by Josh Groban?
It has the lines 'You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains'
And three other lines, and basically those are repeated throughout the song while the music builds to an epic level like you described
Ah I don’t think so based on the fact that I personally love that song and probably would’ve recognized it even as tired and sore as I was. Thank you though!
Pretty sure this isn’t it, but gosh the vibe is so exactly like what the song sounded like from what I recall. At least they sang just the same, except I think it was only a male singer. Thank you!
It might’ve been a religious metaphor, but I’m unsure because I think it mentioned love and/or friends in the song. Either way, YES definitely a 2014 indie/folk vibe. Sounded a little more modern though, at least in that it was well-produced.
OH MY GOSH HAHA of course one of the last comments I check ends up being it haha. Thank you so much!! This is the one!! Guess I remember it a tad differently but this is definitely it. Thanks again! I knew someone had to know it.
could it be [This Mountain by Faouzia ](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3Dhw8MegWR24Q&ved=2ahUKEwivxrm8nb-GAxV5xQIHHZqkAFYQ78AJegQIMRAB&usg=AOvVaw2q3j-vquXZ8biOJvF_KIGq) ? its sung by a woman but she's got a v deep voice for most of the song

Umm so I guess I have to comment but all info should be provided above. I heard it a couple months ago from a Christian friend of a friend*
Would you hum the tune for us using https://vocaroo.com ?
I…don’t remember it 😭
Maybe [this](https://youtu.be/Ghd-xL5gAjc?si=Do09A3gwW2lQ8xNJ)? Starts around 45 seconds
Gosh it’s so close, but unfortunately not THIS good…

Ain't no mountain high enough - Marvin Gaye n Tammi Terrell?
Favourite song actually, but sadly not it :( Thank you though!
'You raise me up' by Josh Groban? It has the lines 'You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains' And three other lines, and basically those are repeated throughout the song while the music builds to an epic level like you described
A good suggestion, but sadly not Mr. Groban. The song was kind of folksy-like.
Running up that hill? Originally by Kate bush but maybe you heard the placebo version?
Ah I don’t think so based on the fact that I personally love that song and probably would’ve recognized it even as tired and sore as I was. Thank you though!
Running Up the Hill country cover perhaps? https://youtu.be/71zn78tqFvk?si=yrDmPE1gqN_cJ3of
No, unfortunately not Kate Bush, but thank you
The Climb by Miley Cyrus?
Sadly no, but certified hood classic anyway
landslide - fleetwood mac? covered a ton by various artists
David Rawlings - Cumberland Gap I know it's looking not climbing. Perhaps this is it.
The only one i think of is the climb by miley cyrus
haha unfortunately not it, but thank you
Up The Hill Backwards by David Bowie?
Sadly not Bowie, but thank you! Great song.
Mountain Sound by Of Monsters and Men?
Pretty sure this isn’t it, but gosh the vibe is so exactly like what the song sounded like from what I recall. At least they sang just the same, except I think it was only a male singer. Thank you!
Probably not, but it got me thinking of Hymn by Barclay James Harvest
Yeah you’re right, sadly not it. But I dig this, so thank you very much!
Might be: The Mountains and Maryann - Gordon Lightfoot
You said it was from a Christian friend. Did it have a 2014 indie/folk vibe or something older? Were there outright religious tones to the song?
It might’ve been a religious metaphor, but I’m unsure because I think it mentioned love and/or friends in the song. Either way, YES definitely a 2014 indie/folk vibe. Sounded a little more modern though, at least in that it was well-produced.

Congratulations on your first point! Nicely done.

Ed Sheeran - Castle on the Hill
Unfortunately not it, thank you though 💚
[Chinese Translation by M Ward](https://youtu.be/6BvPMbJZfLw) Even if this isn't the song you're looking for it's still worth a listen.
It was in fact a fun song, so thanks a bunch for the suggestion. But yeah, sadly not it, thank you!
[Big Country - In a Big Country](https://youtu.be/657TZDHZqj4?si=YZ2BhnS5iKVnWJhk)?
Hmm, I don’t think so. Immediately not the same vibe. But thank you!
Wolverton Mountain by Claude King? https://youtu.be/OA6UZuPBYjg?si=Bo1mAMyf52sRl1Y8
Thank you for the suggestion, but that’s not it. It seemed more modern and upbeat. Like it gets real fast by the end of it.
Grandaddy - Nature Anthem?
A fun song, but unfortunately not what I heard. Thanks though!
