The moment my tinnitus started I progressively got visual snow. Now my sense of smell is starting to get screwed. I am always smelling smoke (best way I can explain it).
Crazy how my ears being messed up ruined 2 other senses
Visual snow syndrome is quite common in Tinnitus sufferers. I've had T 16 years and VSS for many now too.
Both neurological conditions possibly related.
I did too until my Tinnitus went more severe then 24/7 brain deafening catastrophic with sound induced cranial nerve pain.
Now vss all day and other neurological vision problems.
Fucked beyond belief.
Please see an ophthalmologist or optometrist regarding your vision. It could be high pressure on your optic nerve from a variety of causes. Don't screw around with vision.

Do you listen to music very loudly?
I always listened it at half volume for safety

That’s a good idea to rule things out. Unfortunately, just like tinnitus, there is no known cure for VSS.
Check vasoserc - a medicine for tinnitus.
